Workers Ready Waterford Crystal Ball For New Year's Eve in Times Square

Mayor Bloomberg told The New York Daily News that he will ring in the new year with 18 Rockettes. Last year he got a kiss from Lady Gaga at midnight. He seemed unsure which of the Rockettes would get the honor of kissing the mayor at midnight. He did promise not to dance in the kickline, which is probably for the best.

Workers in Times Square hoisted the giant 2013 by crane today, and worked furiously on the giant Waterford Crystal ball that drops at midnight. Take a look:
