White Water, a water park located in Branson, Missouri, has announced plans to launch a new water slide called KaPau Plummet. The new slide will feature two 240-foot slides. The slide launch riders from a drop-floor into a 70-degree plunge followed by a spiraling loop. The ride begins at the top of a 40-foot tower. Riders will reach speeds of 26 feet per second in the translucent slides. The $1.7 million slides are slated to open in Spring 2014.

Cory Roebuck, White Water Director of Operations, said in a statement, "The AquaLaunch trap door builds anticipation for an incredible drop below. Never before has White Water had such a thrilling ride. KaPau Plummet will literally take your breath away in an awesome plunge."
