Video For Britney Spears' New Single I Wanna Go

Here is the new video for Britney Spears' latest single "I Wanna Go." The video opens with Britney at a press conference answering a bunch of really dumb questions: is it true she's having Brad Pitt's child? Does Does she hate puppies?

That last one gets a pointed response from Brit as she points at journalists one by one, saying "F*** you." Then Britney decides to cut loose and relieve some tension. She flashes people on the street in front of a cop. The cop pats her down, which she does not mind one bit. Then she decides to take out four paparazzi using a microphone and some kung fu moves. It turns out the paps are actually killer robots, Terminator-style. Then she wakes up -- she's dozed off at the press conference and the whole thing was a fantasy. Or was it?

This is the best Britney video we've seen in a long time. It's cheeky, it's fun, and -- most important of all -- Britney seems to be having lots of fun herself. She seems engaged in a way we haven't seen in quite a while. Her humor is sly and playful. There's also a nice Thriller homage in the very last scene. Take a look:
