Trailer for Iron Man 3 Starring Robert Downey, Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle
The first full length trailer for Iron Man 3 has been released and it looks amazing. The trailer opens with Tony Stark/Ironman (Robert Downey, Jr.) musing "'I am Tony Stark, I build neat stuff,
I have a great girl and occasionally save the world. So why can't I sleep?" We get shots of him and his lady love, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) as he gifts her with a diamond and ruby necklace. But then we get a look at the villain: Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley). Mandarin is out to totally
destroy Stark and everyone he loves, which includes Pepper.
"You don't know who I am, You will never see me coming," Mandarin
intones. And because it's Kingsley, it's quite effectively scary.
Now Stark has to go to war to save Pepper and lots of innocent
civilians. The stunts look amazing. We get a peek at an explosion
on an airliner which throws passengers into the air, while
Iron Man tries to save them all. In this clip we also
see Gwyneth stripped down to a black bra. Apparently, we'll be
seeing quite a bit more of Pepper Potts in this film.
The movie hits theaters in May, 2013.
