Trailer for Annie Starring Quvenzhane Wallis, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx

Quvenzhane Wallis is simply adorable as the little orphan Annie in this first trailer for the remake of Annie. This time Annie live in a foster home run by Miss Hannigan, played by Cameron Diaz. There is no Daddy Warbucks in this version. Instead we get Jamie Foxx as a billionaire who wants to be mayor. His scheming campaign manager (Bobby Carnaval) thinks Annie would be perfect for winning the campaign.

Quvenzhane was nominated in 2012 for Beasts of the Southern Wild and she has the charisma to play Annie. Willow Smith was offered the part first, but turned it down. Will that turn out to be a wise or a foolish decision? It looks like a fun Christmas movie -- it will hit theaters in December, 2014. Take a look:
