ToysRUs Reveals 2015 Hot Toy List and Toy Trends

ToysRUs has revealed its 2015 Hot Toy List. The annual list includes 36 toys categorized by age. The toy retailer also revealed its annual Fabulous 15 list. ToysRUs expects these toys to be the most sought-after and anticipated toys of the holiday season.
The ToysRUS's Fabulous 15 list includes one of the toy retailer's own toys, the Journey Girls 2015 Italy Holiday Doll. Some of the tech toys that made the list this year include the Smart Toy Bear, Imaginext Ultra T-Rex, Star Wars R2-D2 Interactive Robotic Droid and Meccano MeccaNoid Personal Robot.Here is the ToysRUs Fabulous 15 List:

ToysRUs also revealed what it thinks will be some of the hot toy trends for the 2015 holiday. These include a new crop of dinosaur toys inspired by Jurassic World and The Good Dinosaur such as Mattel's Dinotrux Mega Chompin' Ty Rux and the Imaginext Ultra T-Rex (pictured above) which made the retailer's Fab 15 list. Another trend are the STEAM toys which are popular among parents looking to introduce kids to science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
ToysRUs says cooking and baking toys are also hot this year. These includes toys like the Candy Craft Chocolate Pen from Skyrocket, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Oven and Cra-Z-Art's Real Cotton Candy Maker. ToysRUs also thinks the animatronic pet toys will remain popular items this year. Some of these toys include FurReal Friends, Clever Keet from Moose Toys and Zoomer Whiskers from Spin Master.
ToysRUS has also kicked of its Toys for Toys fundraising campaign. Shaquille O'Neal has joined the campaign as his alter ego Shaq-A-Claus.
