The Princess Bride is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The 25th anniversary edition of the classic fantasy film on Blu-ray was released earlier this month. It is available on Amazon.com.
The cast of the film celebrated the anniversary with a red carpet reunion at the New York Film Festival. Director Rob Reiner was also at the event. Reiner says, "The film has a way of stopping time."
Actor Mandy Patinkin, "Well the one everyone always quotes is 'Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.'"
Cary Elwes says, "I think I like the "Anyone want a peanut' line. It's just so simple. It gets me every time."
