The MTV Promo That Earned Jennifer Lawrence Her SAG Card

In her acceptance speech for winning Best Actress at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence first thanked MTV. She explained that she got her official SAG card after she did a promo for the MTV reality show My Super Sweet 16. Jennifer said, "I want to thank MTV. I'll explain that. I earned my SAG card when I was 14 — I did an MTV promo for My Super Sweet 16, and I remember getting it in the mail and it being the best day of my life because it made me an official actor and put me in a category with you."
