Caramel popcorn for $9. The
Boston Four Seasons offers a small bag of Roasted Salted Mixed nuts for
$8. But the most expensive item is at the The Peninsula Beverly Hills. It offers
10 chocolates nestled inside a special box shaped like the cap worn by the hotel's pages. It costs $80 dollars a box. The hotels say when you factor in the cost of labor and replacing food that was not eaten and went stale, that they don't make much money on these expensive extras. Take a look:
