CNN's Jeanne Moos reports on the unveiling of the world's largest pumpkin. Named
"The Freak 2" the pumpkin weighs more than one ton. It was revealed at the
Topsfield Fair, where it netted a $5,500 cash prize for its extremely happy owner. He also won an additional $10,000 bonus prize for breaking the one ton mark. Ron Wallace, the proud grower of The Freak 2, says
pumpkin growing is addictive. He says once you watch that
pumpkin getting bigger by the day, you can't wait to grow more.
The pumpkin is on display at the fair, stored behind glass.
The seeds will go for between $300 - $1,000 a piece to
other pumpkin growers with dreams of breaking the next record. Take a look:
