Taylor Swift is dressed in green on the cover of the November 2013 issue of InStyle
. The green cashmere sweater and dark green skirt are both by Burberry Prorsum. The cover shoot was shot at Greenwood Gardens, a historic estate garden in New Jersey. In the interview, Taylor discusses insecurities, her bad boy phase and how she sees her life at age 30.
On Being Drawn to Bad Boys
: "My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That's just a phase I've been in lately. I don't think this should be how I proceed in life. It's important to be self-aware about these things because you don't want to end up with that guy."
: "Every single part of me has been dissected at some point or another by a blog writer or a 14-year-old girl on a comments page who says something really terrible. Or someone in middle school who points out [fakes a mean girl voice], 'You have little eyes.'"
On Life at 30
: "I envision a lot of coziness and warmth. I don't know where I stand on family and kids right now because I can't picture things without all the pieces of the puzzle. I don't even have a semblance of an idea of a boyfriend right now. I don't even have a mental daydream of who he would be. And who that person is determines what the rest of the puzzle looks like."
