Study: British Women Can't Do Without Vaseline Lip Balm
 The Telegraph reports that a British survey of 2,000 women found that Vaseline lip therapy is the beauty product women most need. The study tried to find which beauty products women couldn't do without, whatever the cost.
Jeff Wemyss, Superdrug Trading Director: "When asked what women couldn't do without, whatever the cost, it's Vaseline that came out top.
"The little tin of soothing salve not only protects skin from the effects of weather and exposure, it also acts like a sealant to protect the natural water loss of our skin and is a staple handbag item for women across the nation.
"None of the items in the top ten are necessarily luxury items, just reliable, timeless, products which have earned their place as essential beauty basics over the years."
Vaseline lip therapy isn't an expensive product and can usually be found for less than $2. In the U.S. it comes in a small tube and on the UK drugstore websites it looks like it comes in a small circular tin.

Vaseline Skin is Amazing Poster Auction on Ebay
 Vaseline is auctioning off autographed celebrity skin photos of celebrities featured in the Vaseline Skin is Amazing campaign. Celebrities with skin photos in the auction include stars such as Hilary Duff, Amanda Bynes, Minnie Driver, Regina King, Minnie Driver, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Dave Navarro, Jacqueline Bisset and John Leguizamo. You can get to all the poster auctions from this page on eBay.
Each photo includes an authentic signature from the celebrity and a personal quote about the intimate relationship between them and their skin. The portraits are matted, measuring 14.5" x 20", ready for framing. Actual photos are 11" x 15".
All proceeds from the autographed photos benefit the Coalition of Skin Diseases. Sarah Michelle Gellar's photo is leading the bidding so far at $239.04. The auction ends on February 22nd, 2008.
