Walmart Offering 100 Toys for $10
Walmart is bringing back its $10 toys section this year. They are expanding it this year to include more than 100 toys. Last year they offered ten toys for $10. Walmart says its customer research found that 70% of consumers report planning to start their holiday toy shopping before Halloween, and 2 out of 10 will have finished by that time.
The $10 toy offers last through the Christmas holiday. Walmart also says it will match any local competitor's advertised offer on the same toy product if it falls below $10.

Toys R Us Launches Toys.com Website
Toys 'R' Us has launched relaunched Toys.com as a website that displays toy-related deals. Toys 'R' Us will use the site to advertise deals available on its online stores Toyrsus.com, Babiesrus.com, eToys.com and babyuniverse.com. The site will also provide information about deals in the company's bricks-and-mortar locations: Toys 'R' Us and Babies 'R' Us.
The Toys.com website will also offer an exclusive Deal of the Day. Internet Retailer says the Toys.com website was previously a toy comparisoin shopping website. The site should be popular with consumers because the recession has many consumers in a deal-hunting mood. The site also makes it easier to keep up with sales across the growing number of baby and toy properties from Toys 'R' Us.
