Video: Sandra Bullock and Meredith Celebrate Sandy's Oscar Nomination
Sandra Bullock got a surprise when she visited Meredith Vieira at The Today Show. In celebration of Sandy's Oscar nomination for Best Actress for The Blind Side, Meredith broke out the champagne and chocolates. Always the good sport, Sandy said it was a bit early for her to be drinking, but indulged anyway. She noted that she had always assumed they (Meredith and Matt Lauer) were drunk, anyway. It's pretty funny. Take a look:

Video: Martha Stewart Makes Pork Paillards With Sour Cream Paprika Sauce
Martha Stewart stops by The Today Show to teach Matt Lauer how to make Pork Paillards. Martha lets Matt pound slices of pork tenderloin until they are very, very thin, then cooks them quickly in grapeseed oil. She finishes with a reduction sauce. Take a look:
You can see the recipe for Martha's Pork Paillards With Sour Cream Paprika Sauce here. There are many more recipes in the January issue of Martha Stewart Living which is on newsstands now.
Making a gingerbread house for the holidays is very old tradition. Alex Bandon, the online editor of This Old House, shows Kathie Lee and Hoda how to make the perfect gingerbread house. She says it's not as hard as it looks, especially if you use a beginner's kit. Those work best for children, she says. Of course, a real pastry artist can create amazing gingerbread houses: Alex brought Kathie Lee got one in the shape of her house as a gift. Take a look:
Video: Kristin Chenoweth Talks the Twelve Men of Christmas
Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth appeared on The Today Show to talk about her new Lifetime movie, The Twelve Men of Christmas, (which actually sounds more like a Cinemax film) and her current gig off-Broadway in Love, Loss and What I Wore. Kristin is a kick. Take a look:
Video: Alicia Keys Sings Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart
Alicia Keys appeared on The Today Show this week as part of the show's concert series. Alicia sang several songs outside at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. In this clip she talks to Meredith Vieira about her upcoming album, The Element of Freedom, which drops December 15th. She also talks about her favorite charity, Keep a Child Alive, which helps children who are HIV positive and who have AIDS. Alicia then sings her new single "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart." Take a look:
Video: Bon Jovi Performs You Give Love a Bad Name at 30 Rockefeller Plaza
Jon Bon Jovi performed a mix of new and old songs. Here they perform the classic "You Give Love a Bad Name." It was really, really cold in New York when they played; we have no idea how Richie Sambora can play the guitar so well when his fingers must be freezing. Take a look:
Video: Bon Jovi Performs Dead or Alive at 30 Rockefeller Plaza
NBC's Artist in Residence Jon Bon Jovi performed a live concert outside at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Hoda and Kathie Lee said only Miley Cyrus pulled as a big of a crowed. Bon Jovi played several songs. Here they are performing "Dead or Alive." Unlike so many performers, Bon Jovi sounds great live. And, of course, Jon's hair looks fabulous even in the wind. He has amazing hair. Take a look:

Video: Rob Pattinson Jokes Every Tabloid Rumor About Him is Absolutely True
Robert Pattinson appeared on The Today Show to chat with Matt Lauer about all the New Moon madness. Matt said he would give Rob a chance to bat down all the wild tabloid rumors about him. So he would read a tabloid headline and Rob would say True or False.
But Rob, who has a wicked sense of humor, said that every crazy headline was absolutely true, from his dating a co-star whose name rhymes with Tristan Blewart ("there was a Liston Hewitt last year. That would be true, yes") to a drug overdose, dating "nonstop" and his suffering some kind of derriere injury. It's pretty funny. Take a look:
Today Show Hosts Go All Out for Star Wars Halloween
George Lucas graciously provided authentic props and costumes for The Today Show's Halloween show. The cast dresses up as characters from Star Wars and looked amazing. New York's Rockefeller Plaza was transformed for the show.
Al Roker was Emperor Palpatine and later Han Solo (he got a double role), Meredith Vieira was Princess Leia, Matt Lauer was Luke Skywalker, Ann Curry was Darth Vader (but earlier in the bit James Earl Jones was Darth Vader's voice), Hoda Kotb was Yoda, Kathie Lee was C-3PO and Natalie Morales was Queen Amidala. Alas, the canopy on Luke's fighter didn't open quite fast enough, but other than that glitch things went off smoothly. Well, other than the cheeky Ewok that apparently decided to take an unwarranted liberty with Meredith Vieira when her back was to him. Take a look:
