Brunello Cucinelli Expands Footwear Collection
WWD reports that Brunello Cucinelli is expanding its footwear collection, which first debuted in stores this year.
The 20-strong footwear collection has expanded since its fall ’09 launch. This chic casual collection, retailing from $440 to $750, includes open-toed thong boots in soft suede; washed suede shoes and boots with brogue punching detailing; cleated soles together with flats; driving mocs with ribbon ties; and sneakers with gray jersey toe caps.
Brunello Cucinelli's fashions and footwear are sold in Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman stores as well as in the company's New York stores.

Jeweled Ballet Flats for Evening
We just love these charming Elie Tahari Lucille suede ballet flats. We're always looking for fabulous evening shoes that have flat heels. It's easy to find lots of high-heeled party shoes, but sometimes we want to wear flats and pants, but still have dressy look. These are perfect.
Made of suede, they will be easy on feet hit hard by holiday shopping. They feature a jeweled brooch on the toe, which is just fabulous. They come in Royal (a dark purple, pictured above, Black and Acorn (a rich brown). Needless to say avoid suede shoes on evenings where rain or snow is expected. Or wear rain gear and change into these when you get inside the party.

Black Flats for Fall
We were looking for some cute black flats for fall when we found these darling new black suede ones from Juicy Couture. Appropriately named "Envy", the shoes are made of black suede with a leather lining and soles. The sole says "Smells Like Couture", so if you don't like people trying to read the bottom of your shoes, these might not be the shoes for you. But we love the large gold chain detailing, the low 1/2" heel and the elastic on the heel so they don't slip off during a wild dash for a cab.
