E! has some great rehearsal footage from Dancing With the Stars and we're so excited because Shannen Doherty looks just fantastic. She said she's not a dancer, she was more into sports over the years, but she looks like a natural in this brief clip. We also see Evan Lysacek wearing a ridiculous hat, but learning his moves and Niecy Nash taking it a bit slow for Louis Amstel's taste (he looked stressed to us). NFL star Chad Ochocinco looks like he has the moves, but he's driving Cheryl Burke crazy telling her he loves her repeatedly. But he also told the camera crew (or perhaps the audience) that he loves them too, so clearly he's feeling the dancing love. Cheryl notes "See what I have to put up with??" Take a look:
Shannen Doherty Practicing for DWTS, Sustains Bruise
Shannen Doherty has been practicing with her partner, dancer Mark Ballas, for Dancing With the Stars. Shannen has already sustained one painful looking bruise. Despite the bruise, Shannen looks far more energetic and upbeat than the conspiracy photos released by ABC suggested. Shannen Doherty almost didn't accept the DWTS offer because of a fear of live television. Shannen says Jennie Garth has offered to help her with her stage fright. Take a look:
What the heck is ABC doing? Clearly they are trying to kneecap Shannen Doherty before Dancing With the Stars begins its tenth season. Someone picked the worst photos of Shannen, who certainly knows how to pose for a publicity shot. Did you even see that first set of photos? Shannen's looked like it was taken on a cellphone camera. And the new photos are almost as bad. She looks awesome in her silver beaded minidress, but why did they pick the photo where she's not smiling and nearly has her eyes closed? She looks a little happier in the second photo with her partner, Mark Ballas. We smell a conspiracy to make her seem unfriendly! Knock em dead, Shannen!
Shannen Doherty to Appear on Dancing With the Stars
Shannen Doherty will be one of the celebrity dancers on this season of Dancing With the Stars according to The Wrap. Shannen's ex-husband Ashley Hamilton danced on last season of DWTS and was immediately eliminated. Shannen should be able to do better than that.
The Wrap also reports that Shannen Doherty was also recently cast in a Hallmark Channel movie called, Growing the Big One. It's a Halloween movie about growing a giant pumpkin. Shannen plays a young woman who inherits her family farm which is deeply in debt and decides to enter a pumpkin-growing contest in hopes of saving it with the prize winnings. The movie is being filmed in Vancouver, Canada

Shannen Doherty and Kelly Osbourne sat together at G-Star Raw's fashion show at New York Fashion Week. The luxury denim brand presented it men’s and women’s NY Raw Fall/Winter 2010 collection, which included tailored denim pieces in vibrant colors.
Shannen Doherty graces the cover of Radar magazine in October. Doesn't she look fabulous? In the interview she talks about 90210 and her tabloid past.
On how it felt to be hated by the tabloids:
"I was exploring who I was as a person and testing my own boundaries and trying to be a normal 18-, 19-, 20-year-old, and I got raked over the coals. Many nights I cried myself to sleep over that stuff."
On the worst lie she ever read about herself:
"There've been so many. One of those bullshit rags [wrote that I'd entered AA]. They said that I was so, quote, 'scared of the drink' that I was sleeping on my sponsor's couch. Now, I've never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings—actually, I forced him to go to one—but I've never actually gone for myself. Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true ... But people sell their stories and make their 500 bucks at your expense, and it's like, 'Wow. Really?'"
90210 has already gotten a full season pickup
from the CW.
CW Entertainment prexy Dawn Ostroff said that for the weblet, "90210" represents "another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking -- and watching."
Pickup is the first for any new series at the networks this season. Most frosh entries won't start bowing until this week as the fall season gets under way.

The show opened big, giving the net its highest-rated premiere ever in its target women 18-34 audience, as well as adults 18-34 and 18-49.
The series dipped in week two but then started to tick back up last week, when it posted a 3.3 rating/10 share with women 18-34 and 3.3 million viewers; "90210" also has added a third more viewers once full live-plus-seven DVR numbers are factored in.
No word on whether Shannen Doherty will return for more episodes, but we certainly hope she does. Oh, and by the way, check out those insane red high heeled sneakers on Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord). The outfit was working for us until we got to the clown shoes. Although our beloved Posh has a secret fondness for them, we still refuse to embrace the insidious high-heeled sneaker trend.
Shannen Doherty may sign on
for more episodes of 90210.
Shannen Doherty has wrapped shooting the four episodes of "90210" that she signed up for -- but it's possible she might extend her stay in the world's most famous zip code yet.
"If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it," Doherty's spokesman told the Associated Press.
"90210" reps issued a statement Friday saying they'd "love for her to do more" episodes reprising her famous character Brenda Walsh, and there's "definitely" a chance that she might.
It was previously reported that fellow "Beverly Hills, 90210" original Jennie Garth signed up for an additional six episodes after finishing her first five.
Shannen is the only reason we've been watching anyway, so we certainly hope she signs on for more.

to Entertainment Weekly about working together for the first time in over ten years, all those things Tori Spelling said about Shannen in her book and what's coming up on this next season. Shannen seems nice and the two seem to be getting along just fine. Here are some snippets:
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: In the book it says you two got into a fistfight. That sounds very badass. But is it true?
JENNIE GARTH: A fistfight? That makes us sound so tough.
SHANNEN DOHERTY: I know. Like we were serious gangsters.

GARTH: I don't think we ever hit each other.
DOHERTY: We had our moments.
GARTH: I just remember being outside and the boys having to try to settle us down.

Scratching? Ouch. They both seem a tiny bit shocked at how racy the new show is. Shannen says the first episode features a pretty raunchy scene that Jennie said would have Aaron Spelling turning over in his grave. No need to sell it, Jennie. We'll be watching.
The producers of the new 90210 are fully aware that some of us will be tuning into the premiere solely to see Brenda Walsh's (Shannen Doherty) return to the hood that made her famous. Here's the promo. And the answer is yes!

90210.
"Shannen Doherty will be returning to 90210," Gabe Sachs, executive producer of the CW's new spin-off, said during the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
"Shannen is looking forward to returning to 90210," Doherty’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Doherty, who played the twin sister to Jason Priestley's character Brandon Walsh for four seasons of the original Beverly Hills, 90210, will return as Brenda Walsh when the new show premieres Sept. 2.
Now, Brenda will be a visiting drama teacher who directs a musical at West Beverly High School.
Now that's something we can't wait to see. More Brenda!

in talks to sign on to the new 90210 sequel. Tori Spelling is out, for some unknown reason, and Jennie Garth is still in.
A very reliable and very inside source who works on 90210 tells me exclusively that, "It is happening with Shannen. It's just a question of how long she'll shoot, whether it will be one day or ten and what the storyline will be, but we are working on it, and it is a very real thing."
Inside sources also confirm exclusively that Tori will not be able to appear in the season premiere for personal reasons. The new mom (she gave birth to a baby girl June 9) had been signed on to do "a few" episodes at the beginning of the season, but now that won’t be happening.

Of course, the real question is, will they do it? "I don't think there's any love lost between Shannen and Jennie," says one rock-solid inside source. "But they are both adults now and professionals, and I don't see it being an issue. Everyone has their take on what happened back in the day, and I think the feeling is that it's time to move on. They were 19 and 20 when all of that happened and a lot has changed. And, you know, they’re not moving in together, just shooting together for an hour and a half."
Another insider close to the negotiations points out: "I want to stress that Shannen has been very, very cool through this whole process. We have seen nothing like the behavior for which she was once famous for."
