Jennifer Lopez Welcomes New Year in Skintight Diamante-Studded Catsuit
Jennifer Lopez looked fabulous Thursday night as she helped welcome in the new year on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve. Jennifer Lopez was wearing a skintight diamante-studded catsuit. JLo also had a Minx metallic manicure. She sang "Waiting For Tonight" and "Let's Get Loud" and "Louboutins" live in the cold rain on New Year's Eve in Times Square. The New York Daily Newssays JLo's daring outfit is already the talk of 2010.

New Year's Identical Twins Born in Different Decades
The Tampa Tribune has a interesting story about two twins that were born in different years. Juan and Margarita Velasco welcomed identical twins into the world right around midnight on New Year's Eve at Tampa General Hospital.
Marcello was born 11:59:37 p.m. Thursday, 12-31-2009. His brother, Stephano, was born 12:00:02 a.m. Friday, 1-1-2010.
They were born just seconds apart but will be able to celebrate their own unique birthdays and also live with the knowledge that they were born in different years and different decades.
Chef Ed Brown of eighty one in New York shares some dessert recipes for the New Year. Ed whips up some Cranberry Bread Pudding. When he asked for some sugar, Ann Curry decided to kiss him on the cheek and he blushed beet red for the rest of the segment.

London Celebrates New Year With Thames Fireworks Display
London celebrated the arrival of the New Year with a fireworks show above the London Eye. The BBC reports that 200,000 people lined the River Thames to watch the fireworks. Take a look:

Lady Gaga is a Susan Boyle
fan. Gaga had this to say about the Scottish singing sensation:

Kohaku Uta Gassen. Susan was greeted at the Tokyo airport by lots of adoring fans.
We're still trying to wrap our heads around a Susan Boyle/Lady Gaga collaboration. But hey, why not? Gaga can play the piano and they can do a duet. It would be fab.
Susan's reaction to Japan is "Wow!" Susan is the first international singer to be invited on the show Kohaku Uta Gassen in many years. The show is watched by up to 40 million people.

Video: Students Put Finishing Touches on Rose Parade Floats
In Brookside Pavilion in Pasadena student volunteers work on the floats for tomorrow's Tournament of Roses Parade. The decorations are all natural: flowers, fruit, greenery, nut and anything natural or edible. The students designed, executed and decorated the designs. The parade starts tomorrow at 8 a.m. (PST). This year's theme is 2010: A Cut Above the Rest. Take a look:
This little piglets were recently presented at the Berlin Zoo. The Associated Press says that a German tradition means the birth of this breed of pig in the middle of Winter signals great luck for the upcoming year. They are cute little pigs. Take a look:
