Miley Cyrus covers the latest issue of Parade magazine. In the interview, Miley Cyrus talked to Kevin Sessums about country music, Twitter, Lady Gaga, the paparazzi, her family and her new love Liam Hemsworth.
On Liam Helmsworth: "[Liam has] become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms and my own way. He had no preconceived notion of who I was supposed to be."
On Lady Gaga: "I love her. She's really smart. I caught her on Oprah and she was really chill. I used to be like, yeah, I guess she's talented but how much is she really singing. But I've become a convert. She has to be smart to come up with all her gags and the stuff she comes up with. She gets it. She knows exactly what she's doing. It's like Dolly Parton. Dolly plays up that I'm-a-cute-dumb-blonde but, believe me, she's not dumb. She's sitting on a ba-jillion dollars."
On the Paparazzi: "The other day I felt a little bit in danger for the first time because there were too many photographers following me in too many cars. And I have to ask myself, 'Why would any other 50-year-old man who was stalking a 17-year-old girl go to jail, but not these guys? I'm not as American as anyone else?' I mean, they couldn't sit outside of a high school but they can sit outside my recording studio. It's creepy."

Disney's Hannah Montana has recorded a special episode of the show that will honor the troops. Families of U.S. troops were invited to be extras in a live taping. Billy Ray Cyrus said "The writers put this episode together and this was kind of our way of saying thanks to the men and women and their families." Take a look:
Miley Cyrus graces the cover of the April issue of Teen Vogue. The feature includes an interview with Miley and a photoshoot with Miley and her The Last Song co-star and boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Miley told Teen Vogue that she and Liam are "deeper than normal people."
On Meeting Liam: "He's really tall. I thought, Either I'm going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow."
On Her Music: "The more I make music that doesn't truly inspire me, the more I feel like I'm blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I'm taking some time off."
On Her Relationship With Liam: "I think we're both deeper than normal people-what they think and how they feel. He's very grateful for what he has, but he doesn't let it go to his head. I'm like that too."

2010 Oscar Fashions: Miley Cyrus and Amanda Seyfried
Miley wore a champagne colored Jenny Packham gown which featured a bustier style bodice and a full skirt embellished with crystals. Vogue reports that the gown is a custom-made version of this gown from Jenny's Spring/Summer 2010 collection which was shown in London. The runway version of the dress has a sheer white chiffon overlay at the top and ties at the neck. We love the way Jenny modified the dress, and like it better without the overlay.
Miley accessorized the look with bronzed diamond and ruby earrings, a 200-carat bronzed diamond corset cuff bracelet and a 10-carat ruby ring, all by Lorraine Schwartz. Miley wore her hair in an updo and looked really beautiful. If only she would stand up straight! That was driving us crazy from the moment we saw her. But other than that, she looked fabulous.
Amanda looked lovely in a mint green Armani Prive gown which was encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Amanda wore her hair in a tight bun and accessorized with blackened platinum diamond earrings, 250-carat brown, champagne and mint diamond geometric bracelets and a brown diamond ball ring, all by Lorraine Schwartz.
Miley Cyrus is one of four young Hollywood stars recently announced Oscar presenters. She is bringing her mother as her date. Her Aussie boyfriend Liam Hemsworth will have to wait for another opportunity to walk the red carpet with Miley. Take a look:
Last year, Miley Cyrus wore a Zuhair Murad ballgown, which featured a petal skirt. Miley Cyrus has chosen her date, but so far there have not been reports on which designer she will be wearing.
Us Magazinereports that Justin Bieber was asked recently by New York's Z100 is had a crush on Miley Cyrus. Justin Bieber said, "Noooooooo! Not my type." However, Bieber quickly added, "She's cool. She's nice." Justin Bieber should have just said the last four words. The world now waits for a comment from Miley Cyrus about what she thinks of the rising 15-year-old pop star.
Justin Bieber does think Disney star Selena Gomez is pretty, yet he doesn't like her. When asked about Selena, Justin said, "Selena Gomez is pretty." He also said, "I don't like her. I think she is cute. I think she is a cutie."

Young Oscars Presenters: Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart
Oscars telecast producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic announced today that
Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will present at the 82nd Academy Awards. This will be the second appearance for Miley and Zac Efron. It is Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart's debut on an Academy Awards telecast. Kristen Stewart already said she would be presenting ahead of the official announcement.
Mily Cyrus, best known for her Hannah Montana series and concerts, lent her voice to 2008's Oscar-nominated animated feature Bolt and starred in 2009's Hannah Montana The Movie. Mily Cyrus will be seen next in The Last Song with Greg Kinnear.
Zac Efron is currently working on Charlie St. Cloud, scheduled to be released later this year. His other film credits include Hairspray, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, 17 Again and Me and Orson Welles.
Taylor Lautner was the Valentine's Day hit and recently completed work on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. He is has several projects in development, including Northern Lights and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Taylor Lautner's other film credits include The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Kristen Stewart, who portrays Bella Swan in the Twilight film series, will be seen next in The Runaways and recently completed work on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Her other film credits include Panic Room, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Into the Wild and Adventureland. Kristen Stewart also won the Orange Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs.
The Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre and televised live on ABC beginning at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET.

She wouldn't confirm that she will starring in a movie with Demi Moore where she plays the daughter and Demi plays the mother. Miley also talked about ending the Hannah Montana show. The New York Postreports that this will be the upcoming season (fourth season) will be the final season of Disney's hit Hannah Montana.
Miley Cyrus -- who plays Miley Stewart, a down-to-earth high schooler who leads a secret double life as pop star Hannah Montana -- has been making noises for more than a year that she is ready to move on.
But the news quietly marks the end of one of the most successful kids' shows ever. The show still averages nearly 5 million viewers a week.
"You never know in this business . . . but right now we're scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes," says Disney Channel Worldwide's Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming.
Miley Cyrus is ready to move on and has fans that will follow her but Disney may have a tough time finding a replacement for the show that captured 5 million viewers a week. The fourth season of Hannah Montana will premiere in late spring.
Miley Cyrus is staying in London for Christmas this year. Miley says her five brothers and sisters also come to London for the holidays. Miley Cyrus also talked about meeting the Queen of England. She said the Queen was "classy" and went out of her way to spend a little time with each person she met. Take a look:
The L.A. Timesreports that Miley Cyrus's song "The Climb" has been removed as a Grammy contender. The song was nominated in the best song written for motion picture but it was pulled after it was determined the song was not written specifically for Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" helped her cross over into a Nashville audience, but it won't net her a Grammy. The song has been removed from contention at the 2010 Grammy Awards because it was determined that the tune was not written specifically for the film "Hannah Montana: The Movie."
The slot then goes to the song that's next in line, in terms of votes, and that would be Karen O and the Kids' "All Is Love" from "Where the Wild Things Are." The film's director, Spike Jonze, broke the news, posting an e-mail of congrats from an Interscope employee.
It's a tough break for Miley Cyrus but she is very young and already has won quite a few awards.

Miley Cyrus is Seventeen magazine's Style Star of the Year. In the Seventeen December-January issue Miley talks about her fashion line with Max Azria, which is on sale at Walmart stores. Miley said, "We look into fashion designs very much in advance. We started the plaid shirts and the cheetah pants before people started seeing it [on runways]. When you first look at it as a designer, you think Okay, this is going to be a little crazy. But you don't know what's going to be in in a year like Max [Azria] does. Max looks at other designers, and you know it's very advanced. He's got the inside scoop."

Miley Cyrus quit Twitter earlier this week. The word was that it was because her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth wanted her to quit. Miley says in her rap that she didn't quit because of Liam. She raps that the real reason she quit is because she wants her privacy back. She's also tired of all those "lame gossip sites" taking everything she does and making it news. Here's Miley's rap.
