Elisabeth Hasselbeck Kicks Off Reebok's NFL Maternity Line
The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck models a t-shirt from Reebok's upcoming maternity NFL line. WWD reports that Reebok is launching the line because 40% of NFL viewers are women.
"Women love football because it brings the family together," said Tiffany Coldwell, Reebok's NFL women's product manager. "We realized how women were buying the product, but then we were ignoring them for nine months while they were pregnant."
Coldwell said many women were buying oversize men's shirts to wear while they were pregnant, something that wasn't figure flattering. So, Reebok has created a line of cotton maternity T-shirts, available in both long and short sleeves, with team logos and kitschy sayings like "#1 Draft Pick" printed on them.
The t-shirts have printed sayings like "Rookie," "#1 NFL Draft Pick 2030," and "Mom's Tiny Kicker." Rebook's NFL Maternity line will hit stores in time for the fall 2010 NFL season. Prices will range from $15 to $17.50.

Christian Siriano Designs Fierce Maternity Line
Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is launching
a maternity line called Fierce for Moody Mamas.
Though he's showing his regular collection on September 11 during Fashion Week, he's already got a full maternity line under his belt for spring 2009. Siriano teamed up with his two friends Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin, founders of Moody Mamas maternity clothes, to create a collection called Fierce for Moody Mamas by Christian Siriano. Really? Fierce? It already has originality written all over it!
A Moody Mamas rep told us he signed on because he thought it would be great for a gay man to team up with two women who've never had a baby to do maternity clothes.
Works for us. The full line will be available at moodymamas.comMoodyMamas.com in the Spring of 2009.
