Jason of Beverly Hills Designes Special Rings for Championship Lakers
National Jewelerreports that Jason of Beverly Hills has designed special rings for the Los Angeles Lakers. The jeweler was selected by the team. The rings celebrate the Lakers 15th NBA title which they won last year. National Jeweler says the rings were delivered at a special ceremony and arrived in custom boxes that contained "rotating platforms and light-emitting diode (LED) lights."
The special Lakers rings reveal an image of the Staples Center when viewed from the side. The 2009-2010 NBA season just got underway. There will be a lot of pressure on the Lakers to repeat.

Adidas Originals is releasing these special edition metallic gold and purple shoes to commemorate the Lakers championship win. The number 15 on the shoes indicates the Lakers 15th NBA championship. Wheaties Celebrates Lakers NBA Championship With Wheaties Box
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic last night to become the NBA Champs. It is the 15th NBA title for the Lakers, but its first in seven years. Wheaties is issuing a commemorative cereal box honoring the 2008-09 NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers. The box will be available nationally starting next month. The front of the box features the team lineup, includingKobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher and Trevor Ariza. The 2008-09 championship box marks the second time the Lakers franchise has been featured on a Wheaties box.
The L.A. Times California Consumer blog reports that Disney has launched an L.A. Lakers finals t-shirt to celebrate the match-up between the L.A. Lakers and the Orlando Magic.
"The Magic and Lakers share their hometowns with Disney's two U.S. theme parks, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, and will be showcasing the most iconic of Disney characters, Mickey Mouse, as this new line designed for boys and men takes Mickey and friends Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto courtside," the company said today. "With character-themed styles that incorporate the Magic and Lakers colors and logos, as well as the NBA Finals trophy, this line is fun and fashionable for all ages."
