Singer Katy Perry covers the March issue of Nylon magazine. Katy Perry talked with Nylon about her fashion and her music. She says her guilty pleasure at the moment is her boyfriend, comedian ussell Brand. She is also fond of strawberries.
On her changing fashion aesthetic:
"Some of the kid shit I've grown out of completely... I'm taking it out of the Shirley Temple, Betty Boop, Lichtenstein kind of thing. It's still fun, but a bit darker. It's not as annoying. Sometimes, I feel like a big strawberry with a face on it."
On her changing music:
"Sometimes I really feel like I'm more of a Taylor Swift... Love has really affected my songwriting. I know how to handle a man now."
About I Kissed a Girl:
"It was never meant to be a Girls Gone Wild song. It was meant to be fun, sweet, cute, kind of tongue in cheek... but now I'm comfortable with saying, 'Actually, I've been with a woman.'"

Cindy Crawford Launching Jewelry Line with J.C. Penney
WWD reports
that Cindy Crawford is launching a new jewelry line with J.C. Penney. The line will be called One Kiss.
The 40-piece collection, called One Kiss, is to hit 600 J.C. Penney stores and jcp.com in April. The line features sterling silver, gemstone and diamond designs inspired by a henna symbol that translates to "kiss." The pieces range from layered chains to drop earrings to stackable rings, all retailing for between $79 and $299.
One Kiss is Crawford's second partnership with the $15.1 billion retailer. In April, she signed with Penney's to launch a home and bedding collection, Cindy Crawford Style.
"Once I got 'married' to J.C. Penney, the opportunity to do more just seemed like the right thing to do and jewelry was a fun departure from bedding," Crawford said. "When I started speaking with the jewelry team, we were definitely aware of the success of the Jane Seymour collection for Kay [Jewelers] and her universal symbol of an open heart. But obviously, we can't redo what someone else has done. So we looked for a universal shape that had an appealing aesthetic. We came across this henna symbol for 'kiss,' which I liked. It was cool, but I love what it means. It's not necessarily a romantic kiss, it could be a mother's kiss. You can also buy it for yourself."
Cindy and the design team camped out at her Malibu home for long hours to design the line. Cindy says she wanted the line to reflect who she is: she spends lots of time at the beach and usually wears jeans. She wanted the jewelry to fit into her own lifestyle.
The new collaboration is part of Penney's plans to add upscale lines at affordable prices. The Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen line Olsenboye is also a part of this strategy.

She then gave a very gracious acceptance speech, ending with "Meryl is a great kisser." We love Sandra Bullock. Take a look:

Survey: Women More Likely to Remember First Shoe Purchase Than First Kiss
A new survey says that women are more likely to remember the first pair of shoes they bought than the name of the person they first kissed. 92% of those surveyed recalled their first shoe purchase, but less than two in three recalled the name of the person they first kissed.
An overwhelming 96 per cent of women said they regretted having thrown away a pair of shoes, while only 15 per cent felt sorry at dumping a boyfriend.
More than 1,000 women were questioned about their feelings towards their footwear and what they could remember about their shoes compared to their relationship memories.
Experts said the reasons behind women's fondness for footwear were down to their shoe buying habits.
Many women buy a new pair of shoes for a special occasion, like a wedding, birthday or special party.
And much to their partner's annoyance, many women hang on old shoes, building up a sizeable collection by middle age, even if many go unworn most of the time.
*****
Glendon Lloyd, director of website tszuji.co.uk, which commissioned the survey, said: "These results show that women are even more attached to their footwear than previously thought.
"People always think of women storing old love letters in a shoebox, but in many cases, the shoes themselves are even more precious."
We have no idea what kind of sampling method was used or how accurate the survey results are, but based on our own wildly unscientific mini-poll, it could be right. There's something about shelling out your own money for your first major shoe purchase that sticks with a girl over the years. As for what's his name...
Charlize Theron was helping with the charitable auction for organization OneXone Thursday night in San Francisco. When the bidding lagged at $47,000, Charlize decided to raise the stakes, offering a 7 second kiss. She told the crowd that this was high-risk kissing, since the swine flu virus is going around. A man in the audience jumped the bid to $137,000, but a woman outbid him. She paid $140,000 and got her money's worth: Charlize kissed her for a full twenty seconds. The winner also got a 2010 South Africa trip - complete with World Cup tickets, a safari trip and a chance to meet Nelson Mandela.

Worries about the possible winter pandemic have lead one major corporation, the insurance giant AXA, to insist that employees salute each other in place of a kiss or a handshake, reports Telegraph.co.uk. Some companies are asking that employees respect a one-yard buffer zone between each other.
"It might seem excessive, but given that it [the virus] might knock out half the population, fear of others will set in and people will say if 'I kiss my colleague, I might catch it,'" Frederic Chapelle, a psychiatrist, told Le Parisien.
The Telegraphreports that the Spanish have also been advised to abandon kissing and traditional customs in church to help slow the spread of the virus. The article says Priests across Spain have asked worshippers to greet with a nod of the head instead of shaking hands or kissing. Bowing does seem a lot more sensible way to of greeting with a potentially deadly virus going around.

Ashley Tisdale Now Says Zac Efron is a Good Kisser
Ashley Tisdale said in an interview - to the dismay of teen girls everywhere - that kissing Zac Efron was disgusting.
"Oh I actually didn't have to kiss Robert, thank god! No, I'm just joking," she told MTV News. "I did kiss Zac though. But that wasn't in 'High School Musical.' That was on 'Suite Life.' That was behind closed doors. No, I'm just joking! That was disgusting actually. It was! He's my best friend and so he's like my brother and I've never been attracted to him cause he looked like he was 12 when I met him so…"
To make matters worse, not only is Zac like a brother, but he's also Vanessa Hudgen's boyfriend. "So when I had to kiss him in the episode I'm like first of all it's my best friend's boyfriend and it's awkward enough," she said. "But it's like kissing your brother almost ... But he made it really fun and comfortable."
It's understandable why Ashley said what she said. Not only is Zac Efron her close friend but she is her good friend's (Vanessa Hudgen's) boyfriend so it's a little awkward. However, she may have used too strong of negative word to describe kissing Zac. Earlier today, she discussed her comments on her Twitter account, @ashleytisdale.
She tweeted, "I'm getting slack for my comment on kissing, maybe disgusting was the wrong word but how would u feel kissing someone that's like ur.... brother and your best friends boyfriend! Please send adj. I could use for future interviews hahaha."
Her comments that kissing Zac Efron is "digusting" came up again when she was answering people's questions from Twitter in a live Ustream event to promote her new album, Guilty Pleasure. This time she said kissing Zac Efron was awkward, uncomfortable and weird but she added that "he is a good kisser." She says the whole thing has been "so overdramatized."
You can see a replay of Ashley's live event - which covered a wide range of topics - below.
Rolling Stonereports that Kiss is close to finishing a new album. They say Kiss's new album is likely to be released exlusively at Wal-Mart when it does come out.
However, when Kiss do release their new album, it will apparently be a Walmart exclusive. Simmons revealed the news to an unlikely source — actress Denise Richards — during a Sirius XM visit. The promotional blitz will include Walmart dedicating an area of their stores to the band and dubbing it “Kiss Korner,” Simmons told Richards in the video posted at Blabbermouth. Rumors of a deal along the lines of AC/DC’s massively successful exclusive with the retail giant first emerged after Simmons and Stanley attended an Arkansas Walmart shareholders meeting on June 5th.
Wal-Mart's exclusive AC/DC release was a big hit so it is no surprise they are seeking to do it again with another rock band. The "Kiss Korner" will likely be filled with Kiss albums and Kiss paraphernalia to boost sales.
