Christina Aguilera to Design For Topshop?
Christina Aguilera may be designing
a fashion line for Topshop. Billionaire Sir Philip Green (who signed Kate Moss for his chain Topshop) is said to be courting Christina with a very lucrative deal.
According to the Daily Mirror, Christina Aguilera may be the next boldfaced name to design for U.K-based megastore Topshop.
Following the massive success of model Kate Moss' collections, the chain's owner is reportedly offering the pop princess a similar deal. (However, rumors suggest that Aguilera would not be replacing Moss. Rather, their lines would co-exist peacefully.)
It is rare to find a big star who is content to do just one thing and do it well. To be a true superstar, you really have to have a clothing line. And a perfume. And a shoe line. And maybe a makeup line. We can't imagine what Christina's first fashion line would look like. She changes looks so often...perhaps a few 40s-inspired and some Supergirl-type catsuits? We could see that happening.
