Jennie Garth Goes Green

Photo of Jennie Garth Jennie Garth has teamed up with the makers of Green Works natural cleaners to design an environmentally friendly cotton tote bag with her signature. The Green Bag by Jennie Garth is a reusable shopping bag made from 100% percent recycled cotton. The bag is available for sale online at greenworkscleaners.com for $10. GreenWorks will donate $3.65 to the Sierra Club for each bag sold. The remaining amount of $6.35 covers the cost of the bag.

"Like many moms, I'm on a journey to living a more natural lifestyle without sacrificing quality and convenience," said Garth. "Working with the Green Works team to design this bag is another opportunity to share the message about natural cleaning, while supporting a deserving organization like the Sierra Club."

Owned by Clorox, the Green Works natural cleaners are made using plant-based ingredients derived from coconuts, as well as essential oils. The products are formulated to be biodegradable and non-allergenic, packaged in recyclable bottles and not tested on animals. Most Green Works natural cleaners have been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Design for Environment (DfE) program.

90210 Gets Full Season Pickup

Screen shot from 90210

90210 has already gotten a full season pickup from the CW.
CW Entertainment prexy Dawn Ostroff said that for the weblet, "90210" represents "another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking -- and watching." Pickup is the first for any new series at the networks this season. Most frosh entries won't start bowing until this week as the fall season gets under way.

*****

The show opened big, giving the net its highest-rated premiere ever in its target women 18-34 audience, as well as adults 18-34 and 18-49. The series dipped in week two but then started to tick back up last week, when it posted a 3.3 rating/10 share with women 18-34 and 3.3 million viewers; "90210" also has added a third more viewers once full live-plus-seven DVR numbers are factored in.
No word on whether Shannen Doherty will return for more episodes, but we certainly hope she does. Oh, and by the way, check out those insane red high heeled sneakers on Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord). The outfit was working for us until we got to the clown shoes. Although our beloved Posh has a secret fondness for them, we still refuse to embrace the insidious high-heeled sneaker trend.
