Here's the new video for Janet Jackson's new single "Make Me." Shot in black and white, it features Janet and her dancers against a white background. Other scenes have Janet in various rooms of a futuristic house which has some very funky decor. In one some spiky artwork/furniture tends to explode like a puffer fish. We especially love the room that's just a giant speaker. Janet looks absolutely gorgeous. As for her outfit, well now that's what we call some fierce shoulder pads. Janet opens the American Music Awards tonight and E! reports that this is the number that she'll be performing tonight. Love her. Take a look:
Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert and Janet Jackson Performing Live at AMAs Tonight
Performers have been rehearsing hard for weeks for their live performances tonight at the American Music Awards tonight. Jennifer Lopez hasn't performed live on TV in years and admitted she is a bit nervous. But director/choreographer Kenny Ortega saw her rehearsal and said she was fantastic. Jennifer is reportedly wearing shoes especially designed for her by Christian "Comfort is Not a Priority for Me" Louboutin for her performance of her new song "Louboutins."
Lopez is in top form, but she's still a little nervous. She'll be singing a song fans have never heard before and performing live on TV for the first time in years.
"You know what you're doing and you feel very good about it, but at the same time, you wouldn't be human if you're not afraid," she said after her rehearsal.
She's set to perform Louboutins, the first single from her new album, Love? due in stores next year. Flanked by backup dancers, the 40-year-old entertainer busts out her Fly Girl moves in a number that begins in a boxing ring and ends in the audience. Famed sports announcer Michael Buffer is in the act, too.
"I think it's going to be good," she said. "Dancing again, singing, the lights and the costumes -- it all feels like second nature."
Veteran choreographer Kenny Ortega, director of Michael Jackson's This Is It, gave Lopez's performance a positive review.
"Awesome," he said after dropping by the Nokia Theatre to watch her rehearse.
As for Adam Lambert, he's incorporating leather and chains into his act. But it gets better. Apparently the number includes him dragging a woman across the stage. Janet Jackson will open the show with a surprise number.

Janet talked about her latest business venture:
"The collection has been carefully created with some of the finest laces from around the world. You will see a lot of satin and lace combined and rich colors such as burgundy and beige, silver and peach as well as your classic black and white. It makes you feel incredible and offers variety as diverse as the women who will wear it," Janet reveals.
The brand name was inspired by Janet's 1987 global hit Pleasure Principle, which was the sixth single released from the Control album. Bruno Schiavi elaborates: "Janet and I wanted to create a collection that empowers women and that makes women feel sexy, flirtatious and provocative. We wanted to make sure we captured the essence of all Janet's favorite colors, laces and making sure that we stay true to who she is and what she loves."

Interest in Body Jewelry Rises after Super Bowl Exposure
Janet Jackson's accidental exposure at the Super Bowl in Houston has increased interest in body jewelry. The sun or star shaped adornment that Janet was wearing over her breast is called a nipple shield. Rachel Sauer of the Palm Beach Boast did some research and found that nipple shields are held on by a tiny barbell that goes through the pierced nipple. They also come in many different types and shapes including skulls, flames and police badges.
