Video: Heather Locklear's Daughter Makes Modeling Debut
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora's daughter Ava Sambora, who is only 13 years old, made her modeling debut on Friday night at the Los Angeles Fashion Week kickoff. Ava walked in the White Trash Beautiful runway show. The line was created by her father and Nikki Lund, who is a local musician and designer. Heather was in the front row cheering her on. Couldn't they have come up with a better name for the line? Take a look:
Finally, finally someone wised up and begged Heather Locklear to come back to Melrose Place. But is it too late to save the show? We do love us some Amanda. Here's a peek at her return. Doesn't she look amazing? We can't wait until she starts redecorating everyone's offices and firing people. Good times. Take a look:
It looks like those rumors of a sequel to Melrose Place happening are true. The show will be on the CW and will launch next fall.
A spokesperson for The CW confirms what has been buzzed about for months: The network is developing an update of Melrose Place. Details remain sketchy, but it's believed Melrose 2.0 would launch next fall.
The move comes as The CW has enjoyed some measure of success with its 90210 reboot. Despite modest ratings, the show has brought attention to the struggling network at a time when it sorely needs it. The suits no doubt figure a Melrose rebirth will generate another round of mass hysteria. (And they'd be right!)
If they bring back Heather Locklear and Andrew Shue, we'll watch. Maybe. Melrose was good the first three seasons, but really went downhill after that. In fact, now that we think about it some of the best characters are dead. This may not be such a good idea, after all. It just depends on how they do it.
Heather Locklear was arrested
for suspicion of DUI Saturday night when she was driving in Montecito, California.
Locklear, who is no longer in custody, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol and booked about 7 p.m. after a citizen called 911 to report a woman's erratic driving, said Tom Marshall, a spokesman for the CHP.
The person who reported the incident said she saw a woman who was visibly impaired, later identified to be Locklear, getting into a car in a Montecito parking lot Saturday afternoon about 4:30, Marshall said.
Locklear showed bizarre behavior, driving back and forth over a pair of sunglasses on the pavement and revving her engine. After leaving the parking lot, she stopped her car on the street and stumbled into the traffic lane, according to the caller, who followed Locklear out of concern, Marshall said.
When the CHP officer arrived, Locklear's car was parked on State Route 192 partially blocking a lane, Marshall said. The officer talked to her and determined that she was disoriented and "under the influence of something." She was taken to the CHP's Santa Barbara-area office to be tested for alcohol and drugs.
Locklear tested negative for alcohol. Other drug tests will be returned in a few days, Marshall said.
She released without bail. It sounds like Heather's recent stint and rehab wasn't just for depression and anxiety as her publicist said at the time. Clearly, there is some other problem here. We hope she gets the help she needs. But she needs to stay off the roads in the meantime.
