Mischa Barton's Spring Headband Collection
The full range of Mischa Barton's headband line for Stacey Lapidus is now available. There was a small preview collection available last December. You can find the headbands here on staceylapidus.com. They range in price from $50 to $200.
Mischa tells People that her style is boho-chic. "I've been working in the likes of India, Milan, Paris, London, Montreal, L.A, and NYC," says Mischa. "My style has been somewhat boho chic, which I think is a result of having traveled so extensively throughout the course of the past year."
Pictured below is the Gold and Silver Studded Headwrap On Linen from Mischa's Spring collection. Mischa Barton also has a line of handbags out.

Designer Karen Morrison Launches High-End Headband Collection
Designer Karen Morrison has unveiled a new line of high-end headbands. You can see the different styles here. The headbands include a sterling silver headband combined with mother of pearl, garnets, freshwater pearls and onyx, a 22ct gold vermeil headband with green agate and purple amethyst and a headband featuring a combination of oxidised silver chain adorned with coral beads and grey Swarovski crystal. There's also a headband with fuchsia dyed jade, turquoise, cream pearls and yellow chalcedony beads.
Karen Morrison told Vogue UK, "Headbands are no more difficult to make than a necklace or bracelet. I've wanted to do them for a while and so I thought this season was apt as they are very now. I love that headbands look as good worn with a pair of skinny jeans and a floaty blouse as they do at a wedding - or in the evening with your favourite party dress."

Mischa Barton Handbag Store Debuts
Female First reports that a store carrying actress Mischa Barton's handbags has launched at mischabartonhandbags.com.
The OC star launched her bag range last year and it had previously only been available from Debenhams, John Lewis and Asos. We can now all have a piece of her though courtesy of mischabartonhandbags.com.
The store includes a sale section so you can even get your hands on last seasons stock at reduced prices. Genius!
The range has proved extremely popular so Mischa bowed to demand to open the store.
So far Mischa's bag store is catered to buyers in the UK with prices in pounds. Mischa Barton also partnered recently with designer Stacey Lapidus for a line of headbands.

Misha Barton Loves Headbands
Misha Barton has launched
a line of headband line for Stacey Lapidus. Misha already has a handbag collection for the Ri2k which is in its third season: it's sold in England and Australia.
The headband venture came about when, earlier this year, Lapidus spotted photographs of Barton wearing one across her forehead a la Axl Rose. This convinced the designer, a former accessories editor at Vanity Fair, that a collaboration could work. "She's definitely known for being bohemian and for her hippie look, but then you will turn a page and see her in head-to-toe Chanel," says Lapidus of Barton. "I tried to put both the bohemian and the classic into the collection."
The Mischa Barton for Stacey Lapidus line consists of six pieces for holiday decorated with pearls, beads, crystals, sequins and flowers. One standout is a silk, crystal and pearl upside-down tiara intended to be worn on the forehead. Priced from $80 to $200, the Barton pieces initially will be sold at staceylapidus.com, but Lapidus plans to expand distribution to boutiques that sell her signature line.
You can see the preview collection here.

Spring Trends: Headbands and Beads
The April issues of Harper's Bazaar and Vogue highlight some cute accessory trends for Spring/Summer05. Vogue feels that headbands of all kinds (especially summery ribbons) are making a big comeback and everyone seems to agree that long, beaded necklaces are key for spring and summer. The beads are large and colored: everything from turquoise to pearls to wooden beads. The long beads fit in with the rich hippie style that looks to continue through summer at least. Some fashion insiders are privately speculating whether women will take to the exremely tailored suits being shown for fall, give how comfortable the whole Bobo look is. And it's true, a swingy skirt is a lot more fun to walk around in than a tight pencil skirt and high heels.
