Fishbowl NY reports that Life & Style has managed to produce an issue with mentioning the Gosselins. Except technically they did mention the Gosselins because the tagline on the top of the cover reads, "Special Gosselin-free Issue."
But producing a Gosselin-free issue of any tabloid magazine - while at the same time announcing it in bold letters on the front of the magazine - a little contradictory? You can't produce a Gosselin-free issue without trumpeting it as such?
Now if we could just get a tabloid to publish a Heene, Gosselin and Nadya Suleman free issue. That would really be something.
Jon and Kate Gosselin can't stay out of the news. Peoplereported today that police were called to Jon and Kate Gosselin's yesterday. Kate Gosselin wasn't happy with Jon Gosselin's choice in a nanny (Stephanie Santoro) and an argument erupted. After reading Radar's description of the nanny we can understand why Kate was angry. Police managed to calm the situation but Kate reportedly left in tears. Take a look:
The New York Postreports that Christian book publisher Zondervan has delayed a book called Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories. The book, originally set for an October release, has lost some of its appeal now that the Gosselins have filed for divorce.
The star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is in the middle of a painfully public divorce from husband Jon Gosselin.
Suddenly, the book jacket promise -- "an inside look at one of America's most close-knit families" -- doesn't have the same ring it used to.
The book features Kate's recipes, tips on eating organically and "meaningful mealtime blessings," according the publisher's site.
There were already reports that the book might get delayed.
This book may have been delayed but Kate Gosselin shouldn't have any trouble getting future book contracts. She certainly has no trouble keeping her name in the news and gossip blogs.
Jon and Kate Gosselin have left a statement on the Jon & Kate Plus Eight website on TLC.discovery.com. The message says they are no longer going to be commenting on media stories.
"During this very difficult time we will be working to focus solely on the needs of our family. This includes no longer commenting publicly or reacting to media stories and speculation. Our goal is to do the very best for our children and that will be done as privately as possible. We appreciate the understanding, support and well wishes from so many.
Thank you."
Us Magazinereports that the Gosselins' reality show has been put on hiatus until Aug. 3. Kate Gosslin has said she will return for the show despite the couple's divorce.
It's hard to imagine they will be able to keep quiet for very long.
