In case you missed Ghost Whisperer the week before last, CBS has thoughtfully provided the video clip of when Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Melinda is pulled into a vision in a strip club. She sees the vision from the stripper's point of view, so you know what that means. Yes, JLove gets to show off her dance training and work the stripper pole. Oh, stop it, this was a crucial plot development point for the episode and she looked fabulous. Take a look:
And on another Ghost Whisperer note: we are just so happy that Jim is back full-time. David Conrad is getting a lot more screen time, too. We haven't seen the blond guy in the mirror even once. It's like the writers -- like the fans -- would like to forget the nightmarish plot from last season in which they killed off Jim's body and stuck his consciousness into some blond guy's body. But now it's all good and Melinda and Jim's son, the baby ghost whisperer, is adorable.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy Deny Breakup Rumors
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy
talked
to People magazine about the Internet rumors that Jamie was cheating on Jennifer with his old girlfriend and that their relationship was on the rocks. They say that the rumors are all untrue and that they are still very much together.
"I'm not going to lie - it's not annoying, it's hurtful," Hewitt told People Saturday at the Children's Institute Hosts Poker for a Cause in Commerce, Calif., to benefit Ghost Whisperer costar Camryn Manheim's charity.
"It's really hurtful that people say that," says Hewitt, 30, who attended the event with her beau of 8 months, costar Jamie Kennedy. "Because he is like the most awesome person."
Adds Hewitt: "I really hate that people would make it seem like he's not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well."
A recent report suggested that Kennedy, 39, is still hung up on a former flame while dating Hewitt, a report Hewitt’s rep dismissed as a false claim by a disgruntled former employee.
"We are just trying to be really happy," Hewitt says. "It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."
Kennedy, who stood beside Hewitt, added: "I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much."
A disgruntled employee? That sounds like the same crew member who was fired from Ghost Whisperer and has been shopping revenge stories to the tabloids every since. Leave our fabulous JLove alone!
Jennifer Love Hewitt graces the October cover of Self in a white bikini, showing off her slender, toned figure. She told Shape she is happy with her body but there are also days when she is upset by how hard it is too fit into her jeans.
"I'm a girl, after all!" says the 30-year-old actress. "For the most part, yeah, I'm happy with my body, but there are days when I'm like, 'Ugh! Really? Why is it so hard to fit into my jeans?' That's when I say to myself, 'I look this way because I'm supposed to. If we all looked the same, we'd be boring.'"
She says she hits the grocery store every two days and tries not to keep many treats around.
To keep her food choices healthy and fresh, Jennifer hits the super-market every two days. "Instead of piling up food in my fridge that says 'Come eat me!' I keep enough for only a couple of days. And I rarely have treats around that might tempt me late at night, which is when I usually crave something really fattening. What am I going to do? Drive out at 11 at night just to satisfy a craving? No, that's crazy."
Jennifer Love Hewitt also thinks more people should eat lunch.
"Hollywood used to revolve around women with curves, like Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe," she says. "But now it's so different. Not that long ago, I went to this celebrity luncheon, and I was the only person in the room eating. The other girls looked at me like I hadn't gotten the memo, but I was hungry! All of these girls were afraid that if someone saw them eating, it would be a disaster. It makes no sense at all."
Jennifer's right - skipping breakfast or lunch can slow down your metabolism. Daily Stabsays there is also an October Self cover with JLH in a n jeans and a white tank top. She looks great in both pictures.
Jennifer's hair looks great this year on her show, Ghost Whisperere. We enjoyed the season opener this year, which fast forwarded five years into the future. Jennifer's character, Melinda Gordon, now has an adorable five year old son who helps people with ghosts just like her mom.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Bedazzles Jamie Kennedy's Shirts
Peoplereveals that celebrity couple Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are helping each other out. Jennifer Love Hewitt helped boost sales of Jamie's shirts at the Comix comedy club by bedazzling them with sparkles. Jamie Kennedy is going to help Jennifer Love Hewitt by making a demo for her next song.
Hewitt has even used her handicraft skills to help boost sales. "She took my shirts and bedazzled them," Kennedy says. "She would take regular shirts and put sparkles on them, and we actually sold out of them – people go nuts for them."
How does Kennedy repay his girlfriend for all her loving support? "After the show she gets Pinkberry," Kennedy jokes. Kidding aside, he says Hewitt is "writing a country song, and I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She's so good."
Jamie Kennedy also told People that Jennifer Love Hewitt will be directing the premiere episode of Ghost Whisperer next season.

Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Jaime Kennedy Attend T-Mobile Sidekick Launch
Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Jaime Kennedy attend the NYC launch of the T-Mobile Sidekick LX9. They make a cute couple. They are probably both very happy with the news that Ghost Whisperer has been renewed for another season. We like how they ended the show this year with the Book of Changes.
Hilary Duff says she had a blast working on the set of Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt. She says she even did some of her own stunts, which included hanging from a pole fifty feet above the street. Here's some scenes from the episode which will air on April 10th. Take a look:
Jamie Kennedy Admits He and Jennifer Love Hewitt are Dating
Jamie Kennedy just admitted to Ryan Seacrest that he is totally in love with Ghost Whisperer co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt and that they are in a serious relationship. Jamie was a guest on Ryan's radio show and at first dodged Ryan's questions on the subject. But then he threw in the towel and admitted that Jennifer is "his Bella," making a Twilight reference. He says he tends to go all Edward when she's around. Jamie Kennedy is quite funny (we quite like him on Ghost Whisperer) and he continued the riff saying that he likes to watch her sleep and that he'd really like to bite her neck, but he wants her to live.
Once he admitted the relationship, he just couldn't stop talking about how fabulous Jennifer is. Let's put it this way: if there was a couch in the studio, he was jumping on it. It was very sweet, actually.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Says She Lost Her Fashion Virginity Today
Jennifer Love Hewitt said today that she's "losing her fashion virginity" at Fashion Week. She told Micah Jesse that she went to her first fashion show today: Georges Chakra. She was then off to the Adam show, wearing an Adam dress and Christian Louboutin heels. Jennifer say that she loves to shop online, but jokes that she tries to watch it as she's a bit of a shopaholic. We just love J Love. And doesn't she look fabulous? Take a look:
Seasons Greetings From The Ghost Whisperer Cast and Crew
A special thanks to the Ghost Whisperer fans for all their great loyalty and passion this season, this fun video features personal holiday messages from the stars, producers, writers & crew of Ghost Whisperer. They wish everyone happy holidays and share what they wish for. Jennifer Love Hewitt's makeup artist wants a makeover for herself. David Conrad wishes everyone great times with their families and friends. Camryn Manheim wishes us a an Obamalicious holiday. Jamie Kennedy wishes we would all just keep watching Ghost Whisperer and Jennifer Love Hewitt wants to perform with the Pussycat Dolls. Hey, that's actually a pretty interesting idea. We, of course, wish that Jim was back in his old body, or at least that he realizes who he is very, very soon. Take a look:
Ok, Ghost Whisperer fans. If you haven't seen last night's episode called "Imaginary Friends and Enemies"/Episode 406
you should stop reading now because this post is spoiler (and fury) laden.
We are simply furious that the producers followed through and killed off Jim (brilliantly played by David Conrad). It's just unbelievably awful. So he's a ghost now and will stick around to help Melinda a la The Ghost and Mrs. Muir? Puh-leeze! No one wants to see that. The producers blogged
that "it's not what we're thinking" and that it will be an "exciting journey." Really? Because unless Jim turns out to be in a coma half the season and has a miracle recovery we won't find it in the least bit interesting or exciting. We don't want ghost Jim, we want real Jim. And we certainly don't want Melinda to be pregnant if Jim is dead, which is where this storyline is heading. Jim should have been given more to do in the show -- why couldn't he be Melinda's supernatural sidekick when Jay Mohr left the show?
As you may have noticed, we are feeling super grumpy about this, and we're not the only ones: just read the fan blogs. And if that horrible plaid house dress they put our fabulous Jennifer Love Hewitt in during the opening scene is evidence of the costume budget cuts, well, heaven help us all. Give Melinda her fabulous clothes and her fabulous husband back.
We are loving Jennifer Love Hewitt's outfits on Ghost Whisperer this season. In Episode 3, we saw a virtual Melinda with Jennifer's character pursuing a ghost inside a virtual world. In Episode 5, Melinda was wearing some fabulous cruisewear outfits, because the episode took place on a haunted cruise ship. It was good to see the show outside of Grandview for a change. We especially liked the fact that Melinda's husband Jim (David Conrad) had more to do this episode. If they kill of Jim, we are going to be so mad.
Jennifer Love Hewitt has spoken about the Ghost Whisperer wardrobe before. In this interview with TV Tattler she says the wardrobe was more subdued last season.
Is it just me, or is her wardrobe a little more um, subdued this season?
No, it's a fact. We've had a change in designers this year. Everybody brings something different to her. Meeting with the producers (we felt) that the cleavage was starting to get too much attention. When we initially did it in the first season, it wasn't because we wanted people to talk about that, it was because we honestly believed the she was [just dressing like] a newlywed, so whatever. So many [women on] shows now are cops or are always in business suits, so we thought it would be nice to show on network television the Sarah Jessica Parker way of things with this glamorous girl who likes to play with her clothes and can have fun with fashion.
Makes sense.
Somewhere along the way, as cute as it was, people started to concentrate more on that than what Melinda was actually doing on the show. That for us became a very scary thing because the show is not about that. This season we consciously decided to take some of that away. We'll still give the audience a little something. We'll still do the nightgown things for people who need that ... for the 14-year-old boys out there in America. But we really wanted people this season to pay attention to what she's saying and what she's doing. I think we've accomplished that and that makes me happy. I work really hard and to only have people talk about cleavage is not exactly a compliment.
For the record, we love both the storylines and the outfits. And her hair. And her makeup. We're still adjusting to the loss of Jay Mohr, but Jamie Kennedy is growing us.
We can't wait for Jennifer Love Hewitt to return to our tv screens this fall in Ghost Whisperer, which premieres on October 3rd at CBS. At the end of last season, five of the characters were standing on a curb looking down at the ground. There were five characters, but only four shadows! Dead people don't have shadows! Anyway, comedian Jamie Kennedy is joining the cast of the show, and he stars in this preview video which played at Comic-Con in San Diego. take a look:
