Video: Behind the Scenes of Prince of Persia With Jake Gyllenhaal
Disney has released this new new behind-the-scenes video for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The film stars a very buffed Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, who becomes the owner of a mysterious dagger. His love interest is played by Gemma Arterton. The film is based on the popular videogame and we have to say, it looks really fun. It opens in wide release on May 28, 2010. Take a look:
This is the best photograph yet from the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton. The photo shows Prince Dastan (Jake) rescuing Princess Tamina (Gemma). Another reason to get excited about Prince of Persia is that Ben Kingsley also looks perfectly evil as the villain, Nizam. Product placement in television and films is nothing new. But this is the first time we've seen a fragrance which was specifically created to evoke a movie.
Avon has announced a collaboration with the James Bond entertainment franchise to create a new signature Bond Girl 007 women's fragrance.
British actress Gemma Arterton, who plays the role of Agent Fields in the upcoming Bond film, will be the face of the new fragrance. She will appear in TV and print advertising when Bond Girl 007 launches globally in October 2008 in conjunction with the worldwide release of Quantum of Solace.
"I'm thrilled to be working with two such iconic and established brands," said Gemma Arterton. "The Bond Girl 007 fragrance embodies everything a Bond Girl represents -- intelligence, sexiness and confidence."
The fragrance, created by Firmenich, is supposed to
"evoke the glamour, confidence and sensuality of the famous femmes fatale of the Bond franchise." So what does a Bond girl smell like? It features top notes of velvety white peach and orange blossom followed by mid-notes of jasmine, calypso orchid and freesia. The drydown consists of amber, cashmere wood and patchouli.
The bottle is supposed to resemble a female body and the cap is an homage to a Bond spy gadget. Will women buy a fragrance that's supposed to make them smell like a Bond girl? We shall see....
