ABC Cancels Three More Shows
ABC has canceled three of its shows: Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money.
The network is not ordering more episodes of the three series, though it will complete production and air all produced episodes of each.
Behind the scenes, ABC officials insisted "the door was still open" on all three shows, but those who toiled on the shows began the process of letting go.

ABC rebounded quickly and announced the following additions to its midseason lineup.
"Scrubs," which ABC bought after NBC canceled it during what was supposed to be its last season, will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Jan. 6 beginning at 9 p.m.
"Life on Mars" will move to Wednesday nights beginning Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. in the slot after "Lost," which premieres on Jan. 21 with a three-hour event.
"Private Practice," will move to Thursdays beginning Jan. 8 at 10 p.m., airing after the show that gave it its life, "Grey's Anatomy."
It's a shame about Eli Stone which was growing on us, especially after Sigourney Weaver joined the show to play an angel who represents God. It really helped to finally understand what exactly was going on with Eli's visions. Although when Victor Garber's character (sorry, he'll always be SpyDaddy from Alias to us) fired all the paying clients we were kind of horrified. But now it's gone. Pushing Daisies was just too quirky for network television -- it would have done better on cable.
We like Life on Mars, which we've been watching on Hulu when we're supposed to be working. It's weird and wonderful and the lead has George Clooney's voice. Maybe he's a distant cousin? Because if you close you're eyes, that's Clooney talking. Not that we close our eyes while we watch TV, because that would be silly.

Katie Holmes Dances on Eli Stone
Here's a clip from E Online of Katie Holmes singing and dancing on an upcoming episode of Eli Stone. Except for the high notes at the start of the song she does really good. It's a cute number. This episode will air on ABC on October 21st.
"She does a song-and-dance number that is the best one we've ever done," costar Matt Letscher has said. "We've done tons of [musical numbers], and she was just phenomenal." (via Just Jared)

Katie Holmes Makes an Impresson on Eli Stone

Katie Holmes struts her stuff in a song and dance number from the new season of Eli Stone.
The 29-year-old showed off her sultry side as she went back to her TV roots - guest starring in Eli Stone.
She had her work cut out for her - playing the role of a nonprofit attorney that required her to tap into her singing and dancing skills.
*****
Co-star Natasha Henstridge told People magazine that the actress was 'super gracious and lovely'. And statuesque and gorgeous,' she added.
And Stephen McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, described Katie's performance as 'exquisite'.
Katie seems quite determined to prove the tabloids wrong in their assertion that her career ended when she married Tom Cruise. She's certainly been working hard on her well-received performance on Broadway, so good for her. Now, if she could only make a decision between the baggy or the pencil jeans...

George Michael Apologizes to Fans For Latest Arrest

Singer George Michael (seen here in his praised guest starring role on Eli Stone), has apologized
to his fans for once again being arrested with drugs in a public toilet.
Michael, 45, was arrested in a public toilet in the north London suburb of Hampstead on Friday afternoon after he was found in possession of crack cocaine and cannabis, according to the Sunday People newspaper.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed the arrest of a 45-year-old man in north London and his caution for possession of class A and class C drugs.
"I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out," said Michael in a statement issued through his publicist. "And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them."
George Michael is so talented, but he just can't seem to a) stay off drugs and b) stop trying to meet new friends after dark in public toilets. We thought he did a great job guest starring on Eli Stone; he really is throwing away a brilliant career. Surely someone could convince him to go to rehab? Or does he say "No, No, No!", like Amy Winehouse?
