Prince William Spends Night on Streets at Charity's Urging

Prince William is the patron of the youth homeless charity Centrepoint. After a visit to the charity, William accepted the charity's challenge to spend the night sleeping on the streets as many homeless teens in London do. The charity's head was quote surprised when the future king agreed to the challenge. The prince said it was bitterly cold and his group nearly got run over by a street sweeping crew in the morning. He said the experience was sobering and reiterated the need to help the homeless. We think his mother would be very, very proud of him. Take a look:

United Airlines and American Cancer Society Introduce Holden Hugyou

Holden Hugyou Bear

United Airlines and the American Cancer Society are teaming up for the third consecutive year. Holden Hugyou - a huggable, limited-edition 14-inch Gund teddy bear - was designed for this year's money raising effort. Holden is the cuddly younger brother of Maye I. Hugyou and Kenny Hugyou, who delivered smiles to nearly 18,000 children in 2008 and 2007.

For each contribution of at least 7,500 Mileage Plus miles or of a minimum of $50, volunteers - including United employees - will deliver a Holden Hugyou teddy bear to a child with cancer at hospitals throughout the country in February 2010. Contributions can be made through December 31 by visiting united.com/bearhug. Individuals who contribute $250 to the American Cancer Society through this initiative will also receive their own Holden Hugyou bear.

"The expressions of the faces of children receiving a teddy bear is worth a million miles," said Sonya Jackson, president of the United Airlines Foundation. "We are so grateful for the overwhelming response from our customers and colleagues, who together have raised more than 100 million Mileage Plus miles and more than $360,000 for the American Cancer Society for this program since it began in 2007."

Charlize Theron and the $140,000 Kiss

Charlize Theron was helping with the charitable auction for organization OneXone Thursday night in San Francisco. When the bidding lagged at $47,000, Charlize decided to raise the stakes, offering a 7 second kiss. She told the crowd that this was high-risk kissing, since the swine flu virus is going around. A man in the audience jumped the bid to $137,000, but a woman outbid him. She paid $140,000 and got her money's worth: Charlize kissed her for a full twenty seconds. The winner also got a 2010 South Africa trip - complete with World Cup tickets, a safari trip and a chance to meet Nelson Mandela. Take a look:

The Clones reports that Marc Jacobs is reissuing some of his "Protect the Skin You're In" tees. Chloe Sevigny is posing in the t-shirt above. Other celebrities that posed for the shirts include Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Dita Von Teese, Doutzen Kroes and Erin Wasson.

You can find the tees in the special items section on MarcJacobs.com. You have to find the shirts by scrolling to the right. Marc Jacobs has lumped different types of products together on his website in a manner that makes it difficult to find things. As of this writing, the only shirt we could find online after scrolling around for a while was the Heidi Klum one. The shirts can also be found at Marc Jacobs' stores. The shirts costs $35. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will benefit NYU Cancer Institute at NYU Langone Medical Center.
