We just love Jane Lynch as the Cheerios taskmaster on the hit show Glee. But Jane does more than television. She's an experienced theater actor, as well. In this clip she talks about her new off Broadway play called "Love, Loss and What I Wore." The play is based on a book in which the women remember important times of their lives based on what they were wearing at the time. The fashions they wore are how they mark major passages of their lives. Jane says producer Nora Ephron tends to remember life events by what she was eating at the time, but really responded to the book. Take a look:

Anne Hathaway to Play Judy Garland

Anne Hathaway Oscars 2009Reuters reports that actress Anne Hathaway has been signed by Harvey Weinstein to play Judy Garland in film and stage adaptations of the biography, Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland, written by Gerald Clarke.
Movie kingpin Harvey Weinstein on Monday said he had signed the Oscar-nominated actress to portray singer Judy Garland in both film and stage adaptations of the biography "Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland."

In a statement, Weinstein called Hathaway "brilliantly talented" and said "she will be a true class act in this challenging role."

Details of the project were scant. No writer or director is yet on board.

Garland, of course, is the legendary movie star of Hollywood's Golden Age who portrayed Dorothy in 1939's "The Wizard of Oz," starred opposite Mickey Rooney in the "Andy Hardy" films and was twice Oscar-nominated for roles in "A Star is Born" and "Judgment at Nuremberg."
There's already premature Oscar and Tony buzz. Tom O'Neil at the L.A. Times Gold Derby blog writes:
If Hathaway can pull this part off, she would be a leading contender at both the Oscars and the Tonys. Seven of the last 10 women to win lead actress at the Academy Awards did so by playing real-life roles.
It's a big opportunity for Anne Hathaway and a difficult role. If Anne's smart she'll try not to think about all the Oscar and Tony talk in the entertainment blogs and focus on the role.
