Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Take Maddox to the Super Bowl

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and son Maddox had a fun time at the Super Bowl game on Sunday. Brad and Angie even exchanged a kiss in full view of the paparazzi at the game. Brad Pitt, who has been working on a housing project in the ninth ward, was no doubt thrilled that New Orleans won. Maddox was wearing a New Orleans Saints jersey at the game. Take a look:

Second Video of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Together at Directors Guild Awards

Here is another video that shows Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie together at the Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles. The other video that shows the couple sitting at the same table was very grainy. Brad Pitt is giving a speech on stage while Angelina is laughing at his jokes. Brad Pitt's strange beard doesn't look any better even though he is wearing a nice suit. Take a look:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Together at Directors Guild of America Awards

This grainy video clip shows Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie together at the Directors Guild of America Awards awards in L.A. on Saturday. They appeared to be happy and having fun despite recent breakup rumors. There is a rumor the couple will not be attending the Oscars. We hope this is not true because the Oscars won't be the same without Angelina Jolie on the red carpet.

2009 Oscars Red Carpet: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stopped to talk to People magazine on the red carpet at the Oscars. Angie said she preferred to think of the evening as a date night for them. Brad was pretty funny, joking that he was only there to win and that if he didn't win he was going to make a big scene. When asked where the kids were, Brad said they were probably at home throwing spaghetti against the wall. Take a look:

Brad Pitt: There Was No Dastardly Affair

Photo of Brad Pitt

In the new issue of W magazine, Brad Pitt says there was no "dastardly affair" with Angelina Jolie during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. He also says that Angie is no homewrecker.
BRAD Pitt wants to set one thing straight regarding his wife Angelina Jolie: She's not a homewrecker. "What people don't understand is that we filmed ['Mr. & Mrs. Smith'] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up," he tells W in the annual "A-List" February issue. "Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful." Aniston might disagree -- she called Jolie's comment that the couple fell in love on-set "uncool" - but Pitt downplays any animosity.

"Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It's so created," he claims. "We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don't see how there cannot be [that]. That's life, man. That's life."
Now it's respectful to cheat on your wife? Brad Pitt seems to be in a perpetual state of denial. His own wife Angelina told The New York Times that they fell in love on the set of the film while Brad and Jen were still married. It's like he just can't deal with the fact that he was unfaithful.

Jen said that Angie's comments clarified for her something that she hadn't known: that the affair began on the movie set. Brad needs to take responsibility for his actions: he cheated. To continue to give interviews in which he tries to pretend otherwise is ridiculous.

Brad Pitt, the Respectful Cheater.

Jennifer Aniston's Sexy GQ Cover

Jennifer Aniston GQ Cover

Jen looks gorgeous on the cover of the January 2009 issue of GQ. She's naked except for a strategically placed necktie. In the GQ interview, Aniston talked about her movies, John Mayer and Angelina Jolie. She says hew new film Pumas is kind of like a female version of Wedding Crashers.
Aniston's currently working on a film called Pumas, which she calls "sort of a female Wedding Crashers" about two "aspiring cougars."

"It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what's been ironic is how hard it's been to get this movie made," she says. "Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They'd want to change it; they're saying, 'Oh, you can't do that, people just can't imagine you ..."
When asked about the public's continuing fascination with the Jen/Brad/Angie triangle, Jennifer joked about spending weekends with Brad and Angelina.
"The funny thing is that people don't realize we all go away to the Hamptons on the weekends..."
And she responded to Angelina's recent comments confirming that she and Brad fell in love on the set of Mr and Mrs. Smith (while Brad was still married to Jen).
"Well, you know, that was definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn't quite confirmed at the time. But listen... You sit there and you... No. No daggers through the heart. I laugh. Am I surprised? Well, how do I say this?... Considering the source, nothing surprises me."
She also discussed Hollywood trend that she finds disturbing - there are not enough movies that empower women.
"Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine... There are too many movies out there that don't empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that's not my favorite theme."

People Has First Pics of Angie and Brad's Twins

Photo of cover of People magazine

People magazine has the exclusive pictures of Angie and Brad's new twins, Vivienne Marcheline and and Knox Leon. They are adorable, of course. But the picture that steals the show is of little Shiloh holding her new baby sister. It just doesn't get any cuter than this. The new issue of People has nineteen pages of baby and family pictures and is on newsstands today.

Brangelina's $100,000 Nursery

The Scoop report that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt disagreed as to the nursery furnishings for the new twins, which have yet to make an appearance in the world. So the couple did what everyone does in this situation: consult a psychic. Wait... what?
Like many a Hollywood couple, they initially consulted with representatives of Beverly Hills' baby store Petit Tresor for a plan, but when Pitt and Jolie couldn’t come to an agreement on theme, a psychic was brought in to settle on a plan. "It's totally true," says a source familiar with the meeting. "The psychic was to determine the 'vibe' of the twins."

Apparently it was determined the vibe was more girly than modern. “Brad wanted a nursery filled with furniture with "clean lines" — sort if '60s modern and lots of natural wood colors and whites," the source says. "Angelina was much more interested in creating a classic European nursery."

The end result: Petit Tresor got to work stocking the nursery with organza bassinets with pink bows, pink Versailles-style cribs with matching changing tables and armoires, and custom-made crystal chandeliers made in France. The source reports that the total cost of the nursery is actually less than what has been reported thus far. "(The reported) $140,000 is a bit high," the source says. "It may only be about $100,000."
We're with Angie on this one. Brad Pitt -- although a wonderful father -- should not be allowed anywhere near the design plans for the nursery. Remember that house he remodeled with Jennifer Aniston? When he wanted to put refurbished old jail toilets in their master bedroom because it would look "rustic" and "interesting"? No doubt that's when the seeds of divorce were sown, because Jen said she had to gently reject the "jailhouse toilet" vision, as well she should have. Clearly, Angie's vision of a "classic European nursery" is much better than the "stark, white, modern 60s" nursery nightmare concept. Let him design the game room or something.

Brad's Love Letter to Angelina

Photo of Cassegrain love letter pendant

Before they went to the Cannes Film Festival, Brad Pitt gave Angelina Jolie an 18k gold love letter charm made by the Paris engraver Cassegrain.
"I love you, Brad" ends a not-so-secret 18-carat golden love-letter from Pitt to Angelina Jolie, offered shortly before the A-list couple flew in for the Cannes film festival last month.

Made by a master Paris engraver, the love-letter pendant, a miniature gold card slipped discreetly into a golden envelope, begins: "I find you in the morning sky, in the sound of children's laughter, in the motion of every stirring wind." "I love you, Brad," the message ends.

The around 1,500-euro piece of jewelry from Pitt to Jolie also includes a portrait of tiny Pax Thien, the last of three children adopted by the couple who also have a birth daughter, Shiloh, said a spokesman for the French luxury engraver and printer Cassegrain.
Is is just us, or is this endless parade of romantic stories about Brangelina getting kind of ridiculous? Romantic jewelry, making out in front of the paparrazi in Cannes, Angie's rhapsodizing about the couple's bath time chats, Brad's brilliance at all things manly, reports of yet another adoption (this time in Czechoslovakia)...it's all getting a bit overwhelming, isn't it? Is it a love affair or a marketing campaign? Not that it can't all be true, but we're just asking...

Brad and Angelina at the Golden Globes

Photo of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the 2007 Golden GlobesThey don't go to too many awards shows together, but when they do they certainly know how to cause a ruckus. At the Golden Globes this year, Angelina Jolie wore a grey chiffon St. John dress with a shawl, which looked lovely. If there is anyone who can carry off a slate grey evening dress, it's Angie. Her makeup was perfect, with incredibly lengthy false eyelashes, black eyeliner, plum eyeshadow and a pink glossy lipgloss. She wore a Grecian-style updo that really worked with her ensemble.

For jewelry, she selected something unusual and beautiful: a vintage-style uncut diamond necklace, earrings and bangles set in 22kt yellow gold by Bochic from the D'Orazio & Associates showroom. The pieces were inspired by centuries-old Indian jewelry and were hand crafted by artisans who used ancient jewelry-making techniques. They took hundreds of hours to create. Her stylist for the evening was Jen Rade, who has worked with Angie for three years.

So, she looked fabulous. But the evening went downhill after that, at least from Ryan Seacrest's perspective. When Seacrest interviewed her and Brad, Brad gamely answered all the questions. But Angelina just stared at Ryan and barely said a word. Her snub of Seacrest was quite obvious. Seacrest was so furious that he fired back on his KIIS-FM morning radio show in L.A.
E!'s resident red carpet man-about-town Ryan Seacrest is not pleased with Angelina Jolie giving him the brush-off when he tried to interview her at the Golden Globe Awards Monday night. Seacrest, who was covering the event as part of E!'s pre-show, went off on Jolie on his KIIS-FM radio show in L.A. on Wednesday morning.

"I asked her four questions and she didn't even answer me," he complained. "I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.”

Seacrest was more forgiving of Jolie's other half, Brad Pitt, who was standing next to her during the interview and did most of the talking. "Brad was fantastic." The host went on to praise the actress for her charity work, but complained about her dour expression on the red carpet: "I think doing good is fantastic. A lot of people are benefiting around the world from their doing of all of these noble things. But smile."

Cohost Ellen K then came to Angie’s defense saying, "Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money." "Well then don't go," Seacrest shot back. "Don't go. Don't go support your man. Don't go."
Funny, she was an absolute doll when she was interviewed by CNN's Anderson Cooper. But then again, Anderson has reported on horrific conditions in Africa, he covered Hurricane Katrina, and we don't recall that he ever asked her what she made the kids for breakfast or what she was wearing. Of course, that's kind of unfair to Ryan Seacrest, who is just doing his job for E! After all, the red carpet is the place to show off your dress and earrings and say how excited you are to be there. If you walk the red carpet, you've got to be ready for some fluffy questions.

In any event, Kelly Gray of St. John was ecstatic over Angie's performance:
It was a big moment for Kelly Gray when Angelina Jolie stepped onto the red carpet at the Golden Globes this week in a charcoal grey St. John gown. That's because Gray, the former face of St. John, a role that Jolie now holds, was part of the team that designed the dress for the Oscar-winning actress. "It was one of my career highlights to see her in the dress on the red carpet," Gray said by phone on Thursday.

She added that Jolie "was a pleasure to work with and has an incredible sense of style." Gray, a former executive at Irvine-based St. John and daughter of the founders, remains a consultant to the company. She left day-to-day duties at St. John in 2005.
St. John execs are happy that their custom gown looked fabulous. Brad is happy that Babel won. Bochic is certainly happy. Makers of Indian jewelry are happy. But Ryan Seacrest is very unhappy. Is Anderson Cooper available for the Oscars?
