Gizmodo and Best Buy Stereotype Each Other

Gizmodo, a technology blog, recently described what they believe are the saven types of employees you will find at Best Buy. In response, Best Buy CMO Barry Judge blogged about the one type of Gizmodo blogger.
You’ll find this guy on his couch, sporting an ironic t-shirt with a delivery-food stain of some kind. He "commuted" minutes earlier by rolling out of bed and over to his laptop in his shoebox-sized Brooklyn (Williamsburg) apartment littered with empty Redbull cans. He came to Gizmodo 9 months ago after deciding that "traditional media" wasn't edgy enough (read: required pants and didn't like it when he powered down walls of TVs). He only puts on pants in order to put electronics down them, and he gets very upset if you mess with his Star Wars legos. He genuinely believes that the hot PR girl is into him and not just trying to get a post. He overuses the word "fail."
Best Buy CMO Barry Judge's post also included the following picture to represent the one type of Gizmodo blogger:

Model Liskula Cohen Sues Google to Reveal Blogger's Identity

Liskula CohenThe New York Daily News reports that fashion model Liskula Cohen has filed suit to get Google's Blogger service to reveal the name of a blogger that called her the "#1 skanky superstar," among other things.
"It's petty, it's stupid and it's pathetic," Cohen said of the sniping. "And when I do find out who did this, at least I'll know who my enemies are."

The defamation suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, seeks a court order compelling Google and its Blogger.com service to identify whoever led the vicious Internet assault against Cohen.

Her lawyer Steven Wagner conceded it's not easy to identify bloggers who lob insults anonymously, as New York courts have generally declined to force them into the light.

"We think we have a case," he said. "This is libelous, it's defamatory and you shouldn't just get away with this."
Liskula has modeled for Giorgio Armani and Versace. You can find more about her here and here. She says she's had trouble finding modeling work after being hit by a bottle of vodka in a Manhattan club in 2007.
