Beth Ditto chatted with Style.com about her love of fashion and style. Beth talks about growing up really poor and how that pretty much defined how she could dress in high school. Beth says she has always been heavy and how finally she decided to ignore all the rules she was taught about not wearing horizontal stripes or bright colors. She also talks about how her fashion line came into being, with a little help from Kate Moss. Take a look:
Beth Ditto's plus sized fashion line has launched at Evans in the U.K. On opening day, women were lined up to buy from the first collection, which offers trendy, young clothing in sizes from 14 - 32. You can see the full collection from Evans here. The line has some very cute items and Beth herself has modeled many of them. In this video, Drapers magazine visits the stores, takes a look at the clothes and finds out why women are lining up to purchase from the line. Take a look:

Drapersreports that Beth Ditto will be designing a fashion line for Evans, a plus-sized UK fashion chain. Evans is part of the Arcadia Group. Drapers says Evans confirmed the Beth Ditto line but would not give details.
Evans-owner the Arcadia Group confirmed the collaboration at it's press day in London this week but did not show any of the range.
Instead Evans teased visitors by showcasing a replica doll of Beth Ditto and promotional postcards featuring the doll dressed in a dice-printed black and white dress and a sequin disco inspired dress.
