2009 Celebrity Costume Wrap-up
We can't let Halloween fade just yet. Here are some links to blog entries, Twitter photos and magazine articles revealing what some of the celebrities were wearing this year. The Today Show cast stole the show this year with its Star Wars theme.
- The Today Show anchors dressed as Star Wars characters. Al Roker was
Emperor Palpatine and Han Solo, Meredith Vieira was Princess Leia, Matt Lauer was Luke Skywalker, Ann Curry was Darth Vader, Hoda Kotb was Yoda,
Kathie Lee was C-3PO and Natalie Morales was Queen Amidala.
- Brad Pitt was DJ Lance Rock from the kids TV show Yo Gabba Gabba!.
- Nadya Suleman went as a pregnant nun and dressed her eight youngest kids as little devils.
- Rosie O'Donnell was Glenda the Good Witch and Rachael Ray was Dorothy.
- Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag dressed as Jon and Kate Gosselin.
- Mickey Rourke looked like a ghost.
- Julianne Hough donned a cat suit for Halloween.
- NIa Vardalos was dressed as a cat.
- Soleil Moon Frye dressed up as Minnie Mouse.
- Beyonce dressed as spiderwoman and
Jay-Z donned a Jason mask.
- Tyrese went as a drunk gangsta astronaut and said no one could recognize him at the party he attended.
- Jewel Staite dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
- Michelle obama was dressed as a leopard woman.
- Kim Kardashian went as a sexy Princess Jasmine. She was also Snow White
and Catwoman.
- Singer Jewel was dressed in a pirate costume.
- Moby looked wore a creepy mask and carried a long knife.
- Ellen DeGeneres wore an Oprah magazine costume.
- Jennifer Love Hewitt was dressed as a Playboy bunny.
- Blake Lively was a flight attendant.
- Aisha Tyler was dressed as Max from Where the Wild Things Are.
- Singer Rob Thomas dressed a Thriller zombie.
- Actress Michelle Trachtenberg wore a Victorian costume.
- Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa were Jon and Kate Gosselin. They also did Real Housewives of New Jersey and other characters.
- Greg Grunberg went as a woopie cushion.
- The CBS Early Show costumes included Maggie Rodriguez as Adam Lambert and Harry Smith as Julia Child
- Fashion designer Christian Siriano went dressed as Ariel.
- The View went with a vampire theme including Elisabeth Hasselbeck as Countess Chocula. Bill O'Reilly was a guest and also dressed as a vampire.
- Creative Felicia Day made a Zombie Cowboy costume.
- Alyssa Milano went as a pretty garden fairy.
- Martha Stewart was a ghostly horsewoman.
- Perez Hilton dressed up as a Lady Gaga.
- Miley's sister, 9-year-old Noah Cyrus, generated a controversy with her inappropriate vampire costume.
- Rachel Zoe looked fabulous as an Indian warrior princess.
- Jessica Alba wore a cute Dora the Explorer costume.
- Ashley Greene wentd dressed as a peacock.
- Paris Hilton was a ballerina and somehow convinced Doug Reinhardt to dress as the Tooth Fairy. Paris Hilton also made Dorothy look sexy this year.
- Christina Aquilera was dressed as a pirate skeleton.
- Heidi and Seal were both dressed as black crows.
- Kelly Clarkson was dressed as Stewie Griffin.
- Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were angels.
- Katy Perry was a camel hump.
- Rihanna was a sexy tiger.
- Zachary Quinto went as a skeleton.
- MIA wore a Shark Attack dress.
- Kelly Osbourne and her BF Luke Worrall were bacon and eggs.
- Kylie Minogue and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie teamed up to celebrate Halloween in New York. Kylie was a ghostly showgirl and Fergie was Cleopatra.
