Sushi Chefs Not Fans of New California Glove Law

CBS This Morning reports that sushi chefs are not fans of a new California safety law requiring them to wear gloves. The new food ordinance bans bare handed contact with food. It applies to all restaurants and all employees, even bartenders. California wants to curb foodborne illnesses. Sushi chefs say the new law takes their sense of touch away. Yoya Takahashi, executive chef at Hamasaku in West Los Angeles, is importing special gloves from Japan to see if he they will provide more sensitivity. Takahashi is not the only sushi chef upset with the new law. Take a look:
