Stephen Colbert's Wax Figure Unveiled at Madame Tussauds
Stephen Colbert new wax figure was unveiled today at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. on Friday, November 16, 2012. Colbert helped unveil his wax likeness in the attraction's Media Room. The room was renovated to include a replica set of The Colbert Report.
Colbert helped Tussauds make his wax figure. He spent time with Madame Tussauds artists and let them take over 250 precise measurements and photographs. Colbert also donated his own clothes to outfit the figure, including a suit, tie, shirt, cuff links, socks, shoes and lapel pin. He also gave precise information about his eye glasses, so they could be recreated. It was worth the effort as Colbert's wax double looks a great deal like him. Take a look:
