Samsung has unveiled a new monitor that can also wirelessly charge your phone. The SE370 will come in two sizes, 23.6 inches and 27 inches. The idea behind the monitor's charging feature is to help reduce the clutter of the cables and ports needed to charge mobile devices.

The monitor uses the Qi wireless charging standard. To charge a device users place their mobile phone on the stand's charging area located at the base of the monitor. An LED light confirms that charging has been initiated.

Samsung says the new monitor is designed for extended periods of use. It has an eye-saver mode designed to reduce the effects of blue light on viewers' eyes. Samsung says the display optimizes picture quality to match specific environmental settings. It also has a flicker-free function.

The monitor has a resoultion of 1920×1080. It has a Plane-to-Line-Switching (PLS) panel that provides a 178 degree wide-viewing angle and a brightness of up to 300 cd/m2. The contract ratio is 1000:1 and the response time is 4ms.

The monitor has a white base and a white bezel with a transparent blue frame. Pricing information and a release date have not yet announced.
