Samsung has unveiled its Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone. Some of the new features include a heart rate monitor, called S Health 3.0, and a finger scanner for secure biometric screen locking. It is also IP67 dust and water resistant.
The Galaxy S5 has a large 5.1-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel screen, a 2.5GHz quad core processor. It also features a 16 megapixel rear camera with an autofocus speed of 0.3 seconds and a 2 megapixel front camera. The camera also records 4k resolution video. The phone runs on the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system. It has 2GB of RAM and comes with memory of 16GB or 32GB. A microSD slot can increase the memory by up to 65GB.
The S5 will be available in several colors including charcoal black, shimmery white, electric blue and copper cold. The phone is expected to go on sale around April 11 in most countries.
