Sally Field looked fabulous at the 2013 Golden Globes. Sally was a nominee for her role as Mary Todd Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's
Lincoln. Sally wore a custom navy blue silk chiffon gown by Alberta Ferretti which featured
cap sleeves, a plunging neckline, draped bodice and elegant train. She accessorized with a diamond necklace, earrings, and rings, and carried a jeweled evening bag.
Sally told
told USA Today that red carpet events have sure changed from when she walked them more regularly. Sally explained, "When I won my Oscars (for
Norma Rae and
Places in the Heart) in the '80s, I went to a store and bought a dress. Paid for. That was it! This has all changed. In such a huge way. I have these wonderful designers that I go, what? He wants to make a dress for me, and he wants to make a dress for me? I'm overwhelmed. I feel like a kid."
