Roku has introduced a new version of its streaming player, the Roku 3. The new model features a faster processor and a new interface. It also includes an upgraded remote with a built-in headphone jack for private listening. The remote also doubles as a motion-sensing game controller, enabling users to play games like Angry Birds.
Roku 3 comes with over 750 channels, 1080p HD support, Ethernet, dual-band wireless, USB ports and microSD slot. Some of the recently launched channels include TWC TV, BlockBuster On Demand and iHeartRadio. Roku says Fox Now, PBS and PBS Kids are coming soon.
The new player arrives in April and will cost $99.99.
