The New York Timesreports that a baby walrus, named Mitik, is being transfered from the Alaska Sea Life Center to New York Aquarium. The walrus calf was one of two stranded calves recently rescued and cared for by the Alaska Sea Life Center. Mitik initially very weak and suffered bladder trouble, but he is doing much better now. ABC Newsreports that the other baby walrus, Pakak, will get a new home at the Indianapolis Zoo. Here is a video of Mitik and Pakak playing at the Alaska Sea Life Center. Take a look:
