Best Actress nominee Quvenzhane Wallis is only nine years old, but she walked the red carpet at the 2013 Oscars like a pro. She looked absolutely adorable in a navy blue gown that she said she loves because "it's sparkly and fluffy." She accessorized with a puppy purse modeled after her real puppy named Sammy.
She said she loves puppy purses.
Quvenzhane is a huge fan of Disney stars Debby Ryan, star of Jessie, and former Disney stars Selena Gomez and Demi Levato. Ryan Seacrest had a surprise for her: he had a video of Debby telling her good luck at the Oscars and inviting her to visit the Jessie set. Evan seemed a bit overwhelemd saying "Hello and thank you!!" in response to Debby. She was accompanied to the event by her mother and sister who said it was okay for her to stay up late.
