Queen Elizabeth Hands Out Maundy Money, Attends Church Services
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II handed out "Maundy money" to deserving subjects today as part of the traditional events for Maundy Thursday of Holy Week, which leads up to Easter Sunday.
The Queen is the head of the Anglican Church in England and attended traditional church services. The Queen wore a bright blue dress coat and hat for the occasion and was accompanied by her husband, Prince Phillip, as well as other family members. Take a look:
