Puppy Bowl VIII to Feature Puppies, Pigs, Tweeting Bird and Kitty Half-Time Show
Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl returns this year for Puppy Bowl VIII. Animal Planet says it searched shelters and rescue groups, with the help of Petfinder.com, for the "toughest pups ever to carry a chew toy into an end zone and across the goal line."
This year's show features 58 puppies, 20 cats, five pigs and one bird. Meep the Bird will be tweeting the action on Twitter, @MeepTheBird. Animal advocate and television correspondent Jill Rappaport will provide sideline analysis and commentary. The show also features a new edition of the Bissell Kitty Half-Time Show.
