A new official portrait of President Obama was taken in the Oval Office on Dec. 6, 2012 and
uploaded on Flickr on January 17th. Obama's hair is much grayer now than it was in his
2009 portrait. This is typical of presidents, probably because it is a very stressful job and possibly because they learn some shocking things. The photographs were both taken by White House photographer Pete Souza. Here are the two photos side by side.
