Polaroid to Introduce Kids Tablet at 2013 CES

Polaroid Kids Tablet


Polaroid has announced plans to unveil at 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet for kids at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The tablet has a screen resolution of 800x480 (16:9) and 8GB of internal storage. It has a 1.0 GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It features a 2MP rear camera. The tablet is Wi-Fi enabled.

The tablet comes pre-loaded with 35 apps. Some highlights include Kids Vids, an app that allows children to stream safe videos and Free Play, which displays all the free games/apps available for download from a kid-friendly App Shop.

Polaroid CEO CEO Scott W. Hardy said in a release, "Throughout our 75 year history, we've been known for creating innovative and easy-to-use products that are fun for all ages. The kids tablet is no exception. It epitomizes the Polaroid brand personality and brings together a host of features that will delight kids and parents alike."

The tablet will cost $149.99 and can be purchased here on polaroidstore.com. It will also be sold at Kohl's later this month.
