Peanut Butter Recalls Grow in Salmonella Bredeney Outbreak

A peanut butter recall is growing. The recalled products are linked to a Salmonella Bredeney outbreak, which includes 30 cases in nineteen states. Most of those sick are children under the age of 10. The recall started with a brand at Trader Joe's. It has since expanded to 101 items that includes nut butters as well as peanut butter products at major retailers, including Whole Foods, Kroger and Target. Most recently the recall has started included products that used the recalled peanut butter in them. A list of recalled items can be found here. The salmonella outbreak is linked to Sunland Inc., a peanut butter manufacturer in New Mexico. Take a look:
