PBS Kids has announced it will premiere an animated
Curious George special on Earth Day, called
Curious George Swings Into Spring. George can be seen swinging with The Man in the Yellow Hat in the above still from the special. The one-hour adventure premieres Monday, April 22 and will repeat Friday, April 26 as well other times during the weekend. It will be available on
DVD and digital download starting March 12.
George is very excited about spring and he wants his friend Hundley the dog to have spring fever. However, little Hundley resists getting spring fever despite all the blooming flowers, baby animals and fun canoe rides. Hundley gets lost in the country and George has to go find him. In his search for Hundley, George manages to accidentally launch a hot air balloon and has to be rescued.
